I transcribed the piece by ear and recorded everything using my Midi piano, running different custom orchestral instruments overtop of the Midi through Garageband. I transcribed it by ear and I know it's not 100% correct and a bit messy at some points (I didn't use a metronome or any timing tools), but I guess it's pretty close (as close as I could get :-)) I decided to create this remake simply because I love this track and I think it's one of the most beautiful scores ever made. It's emotional, epic, and relaxing at the same time. Besides that, it was a good practise. I'm self thaught so it was pretty hard to find out all melodies and instruments, but I had a great time :-) Please note that I can't put this midi file on the internet, so please don't ask. So Ive seen this style of painting around youtube, and I wanted to give it a striking go. I wanted to show you guys I am capable of drawing more then what you see. I also wanted to show all the MSP Paint users that you can create "art" in that program, and its not just a program sent to you from hell. As a first time doing something like this, I have to say I think I did ok. Also, Ive never really full out drawn a dragon, so you can say this is a first for that too. Processing bats during an early hibernacular count is also included. Over a thousand records of more than 100 cave adapted invertebrate species are documented in Virginia alone, and new species are discovered on a regular basis. It should also be noted that the Eastern big-eared bat and Rafinesque's big-eared bat are the same species. They are given subspecies classification, mostly due to geography, but are not considered individual species. The two species of big-eared bats are the Virginia big-eared bat (Corynorhinus townsendii; with several subspecies) and Rafinesque's big-eared bat (Corynorhinus rafinesquii; with two subspecies).

So this is the dramatically tragic short film I made for my final exam. The subject was "A conflict in a family" and here's the result of those words. I'm pretty content with it even though it has no fancy AE stuff in it. The Eliminator - an Action-Packed & Bloody Short!
So here's my newest forgery of wonder. Don't look too much at the story (if there even is one!) because this was purely made for testing some effects. Wasn't even supposed to be a story, I just made it so anyway! So we filmed this in an hour or so on a day we had nothing better to do in class. I used the last weekend to edit it and make all the effects. Apart from some tracking problems I'm fairly content with the result, and this is definitely my biggest effect project I've done. Look out for a pretty cool effect I'm working on though, which I actually filmed last winter but the keyframing was so incredibly time consuming so I put it on hold for a while. Gonna test roto-brushing it once I buy CS5 soon. As for the word mentioned in the end, that's a teacher saying "Anmerking" which is a Norwegian word for an adverse remark. In other words a kind of written punishment for being a bad boy in school, which may haunt you forever on your testimony :) Other than that, enjoy the little short film!
