VERY IMPORTANT: Nigerian Fried Rice can go bad very quickly. Eat it once you finish preparing it. Or refrigerate immediately. If you want to serve it at a party, please cook it very close to the serving time, if not, it will go bad! It will be good for up to 48 hours if refrigerated. FAQ Why did you fry the rice separately? Why can't you just fry it all at once? I fried the rice in small batches because that's the only way to actually get every single grain of the rice fried for a few minutes. That way the flavour of the ingredients will go into the rice and make your fried rice taste better. Slow Cooked Beef Roast
This is normally for Brisket, but any beef roast on sale will do. This is one of the more flavorful dishes Jack Scalfani has made. Here is the recipe: Slow Cooked Beef Roast Ingredients * 2 tablespoons vegetable oil * 1 (5- to 6-pound) brisket or any beef roast * 2 large onions, peeled and cut into 1/4-inch slices * 6 garlic cloves, peeled and minced * 1 (12-ounce) can beer * 1/2 cup low-sodium beef broth * 4 celery stalks, cut into 1/2-inch slices * 1/2 cup tomato paste * 1 (14 1/2-ounce) can stewed tomatoes * 2 bay leaves * 1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar * 1/3 cup Dijon mustard * 1/2 cup red wine vinegar * 1/4 cup regular molasses * 1/3 cup soy sauce * 1 teaspoon paprika * Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste Preparation Heat 1 tablespoon of the oil in a large sauté pan over medium-high heat. Brown the brisket well on all sides. Place the browned meat in the slow cooker insert. Add more oil, if needed, and sauté the onions until soft, about 4 minutes. Add the garlic and cook 2 minutes more. Scrape the vegetables into a big bowl. Pour the beer and broth into the sauté pan and bring to a boil, scraping up the meat bits in the pan with a wooden spoon. Pour over the meat. Add the celery, tomato paste, stewed tomatoes, bay leaves, brown sugar, mustard, vinegar, molasses, soy sauce, and paprika to the big bowl with onions and stir thoroughly. Then pour mixture on top of meat. Cover and cook for 8 hours on LOW or 5 to 6 hours on HIGH, or until the meat is fork-tender ...

Just let it sit for about 10 minutes on med high. After 10 Min stir occasionally and then lower heat to taste. Add soysauce or other flavors as desired. Then let it simmer for another 10 minutes on med high. When the gravy (sabow) is a thin consistency (dribbling off spoon) then you add onions, stir the adobo, and turn the heat to high for 2 minutes. In this video, we're making tapas with Allrecipes home cook, Raelee. We started with Raelee's Creamy Goat Cheese and Honey recipe, a simple tapa made with creamy goat cheese, honey, rosemary, and a light dusting of crushed pecans. Delicious, light, and melt-in-your-mouth good. We followed that up with Easier Cranberry Puffs, delicious raspberry- and cream cheese-filled wontons that, with the added jalapeno and red curry powder, had just the right amount of kick! We substituted the cranberries with fresh raspberries we purchased at the Mill City Farmers' Market. For the final tapa, Raelee created Butterfly Chili Lime Prawn Spedini with Raspberry Dipping Sauce: beautifully butterflied prawns with a fun citrus and spice twist.

Serves 2 (Depending on how hungry you are and what you decide to have with the sauce!) You will need: 1 tablespoon (or less) rapeseed/cooking oil 1 tablespoon (or less) extra virgin olive oil Dash of balsamic vinegar 1 aubergine 2 cloves of garlic, crushed or finely chopped 1 heaped teaspoon of dried oregano Dried chilli (to taste. I used two tiny ones. Leave the chilli out if you prefer!) 1 tin chopped tomatoes 1 tablespoon of tomato puree Fresh basil leaves (optional) Approx 50g buffalo mozzarella per person 1) Cut the aubergine into slices 1cm thick (ish!) and then the slices into cubes. Try to get them KIND of the same size so that they cook evenly! 2) Heat about a tablespoon of oil in a deep frying pan. You can use less oil than this or even no oil if you have a good non-stick pan. The idea is to cook off the aubergine cubes so that they begin to brown slightly on the outsides. You need to keep the cubes moving in the pan so that they don't burn! 3) After a few minutes of cooking off the cubes, take the pan from the heat and clear a space off to the side so that you can fry your crushed garlic in a bit of extra virgin olive oil. Eating certain foods for halting the growth of cancer-feeding blood vessels could be key to treating tumors, according to Dr. William Li, head of the Angiogenesis Foundation http Blood vessels, literally the lifelines in our bodies, deliver the nutrients our organs need to survive. But they also feed cancerous growths. Cancers don't start out with a blood supply. Instead, they begin as tiny nests of cells that if given a blood supply will grow into cancer. Without a blood supply, most of these cancers will never become dangerous. What does this have to do with Bok Choy? Dr. Li is conducting a million person study, the world's largest study on cancer prevention with foods. One of the foods that he has studied that has great potential for preventing cancer from growing is bok choy. I was thrilled to learn this, because it's one of the easiest vegetables to prepare and delicious at that.

Well now we know how much its carcass is worth to the legal team winding down the estate -- the team led by the trustee and former FBI director Louis Freeh. They've reportedly racked up $25 million in fees! Customers are reportedly upset, as their money is still missing. We'll talk about some possible MF Global enablers that seem to be getting a free pass from regulators and investigators: the auditors. Plus, the Financial Times reports JP Morgan's chief investment office has built up positions totaling more than $100 billion in complex risky bonds - the types at the center of the 2008 crisis. This is in addition to the positions in credit derivatives that led to the $2 billion dollar trading loss we learned about last week. Has the bank's reputation until now as an "excellent risk manager" allowed it to escape scrutiny when taking these risks?
