DAHAB, EGYPT - UNDATED: MILLIONS of people around the world were left stunned when a video of Lena Fokina doing 'baby yoga' broke on the internet. The 51-year-old Russian was filmed spinning and flipping babies above her head and behind her back in such an outlandish fashion that several websites banned the footage for glorifying what to many would be considered child abuse. In fact, the moves were so shocking that most conceded they were being performed on a doll as no sane person would consider them acceptable. However, we tracked Lena down to a seminar called "Parenting the Deliberate Way" in Dahab, Egypt, where parents from across Europe were paying her to perform the same moves on their infants, some just a few months old. But Lena, who is a qualified PE teacher in her native Russia, insists the practice is totally safe and actually beneficial to children.

Rios Wins Controversial Split Decision

"I had an Abortion" T-Shirt Sparks Controversy
"I had an abortion" isn't what we expect to see on a t-shirt, but author Jennifer Baumgardner (speaking at the University of North Carolina Wilmington) felt like it would be a wise move as a promotion for her book, and as a way to fight anti-abortion stigma. Critics of the shirts fought back with protests and a counter t-shirt that read "I haven't killed a baby." Ana Kasparian and John Iadarola respond to this t-shirt back and forth. Ellen DeGeneres Reacts To JC Penney Controversy
Ellen Degeneres says she normally doesn't pay attention to her haters because they make her stronger, but this time she just had to talk about it. The activist group 'One Million Moms' caused a huge stir by saying Ellen shouldn't be the spokesperson because she does not represent JC Penney's type of customers. Basically, they're saying gay people don't, or at least shouldn't, shop there. But leave it to Ellen to offer up a heartfelt, and of course funny, monologue, addressed to her fans, and haters too. Ellen says she is so glad JC Penney is defending her and jokes that the anti-gay group isn't even all it's chalked up to be. Saying "Not that there's anyone counting, but for a group that calls itself the 'One Million Moms,' they only have 40000 members on their Facebook page. And luckily enough, we found somebody with one: Josef Sorett, a professor of religion and African-American studies at Columbia University. With everyone from director Steven Klein and Gaga's fans to Perez Hilton and Katy Perry weighing in on the clip's use of religious (mostly Catholic) images, we decided to ask Sorett for a scholar's opinion on the "Alejandro" video, to find out just what, exactly, all those crosses and rosary beads mean. "To me, this video is very much about the wedding of the spiritual and the sexual, which, to be quite honest, has been a longstanding theme in popular music, whether it be someone like Madonna or, you know, Marvin Gaye," Sorett told MTV News. "But there's also a tradition of this — using the notions of love or loss to explain the relationship between humanity and divinity — in the Catholic church that goes back much further, obviously." Ventura set the record straight during an appearance on the Alex Jones Show, saying he had been misquoted on "wanting to give up my US citizenship, I never once stated that," adding that he was merely seeking dual citizenship because he and his wife lived half the year in Mexico anyway. In the aftermath of his press conference on Friday, some reports announced that Ventura was "abandoning his citizenship" and running away to Mexico in response to a judge tossing out his case against TSA groping in airports. "I love my country, not my government," Ventura remarked in response to reports that had characterized him as unpatriotic. "I never said that I'm giving up my US citizenship, that's a lie....they don't even focus on what the case is about," said Ventura, criticizing the media for focusing on provocative statements rather than why Ventura was denied a trial.
