Van Cliburn receives admirers' letters dated 1958 in 2011

Sorry for the sound quality!!! That wasn't me who recorded, but my music professor (and her half dead camera). Recorded at XIV International Tchaikovsky Competition. Van Cliburn (someone pronounced [ven klaibən], but he corrected!) is being presented with scanned fan letters from Klin city Tchaikovsky Museum archive. These letters were written to him soon after his triumph at 1958 competition. These messages have waited in the wings for so long! The feelings of the great musician and great man can be understood witout any sound.
