Bach - Double Violin Concerto in D minor 2nd movement, Largo
Title : Johann Sebastian Bach, Double Violin Concerto in D minor (2nd movement, Largo Ma Non Tanto (BWV 1043) From Wikipedia , The Concerto for Two Violins in D minor (BWV 1043) is perhaps one of the most famous works by JS Bach and considered among the best examples of the work of the late Baroque period. Bach wrote it in Leipzig sometime between 1730 and 1731, most likely for the Leipzig Collegium Musicum, of which he was the director. It also exists in an arrangement for two harpsichords, transposed into C minor (BWV 1062). In addition to the two soloists, the concerto is scored for strings and basso continuo. The concerto is characterized by the subtle yet expressive relationship between the violins throughout the work. The musical structure of this piece uses fugal imitation and much counterpoint. The concerto comprises three movements: Vivace Largo ma non tanto Allegro

We took our cameras with us and a new tune that we created just for the occasion. Thanks to a number of subscribers for the suggestion to remake this epic classical piece by Carl Orff! It was one of three possibilities we were considering when writing with the race track in mind. In the end it was no contest; especially when we read the English transition of the Latin lyrics in the piece -- which speak of fate like a "wheel" and a "driving force!" Our version of O Fortuna was so much fun to create that it was done in a matter of three days (we couldn't let ourselves do anything else until it was finished). It consists of 6 piano tracks, 43 acoustic cello tracks, 3 percussion tracks, and 48 vocal tracks. A special thanks to Orin Harker (He owns the white car) , along with his wife Val, who hosted us, gave us all the ride of our lives, and taught us about the coolness of Radical Racing! Soo cool. "Classical Gas" is an instrumental musical piece composed and originally performed by Mason Williams. Originally released in 1968 on the album The Mason Williams Phonograph Record, it has been rerecorded and rereleased numerous times since by Williams. One later version served as the title track of a 1987 album by Williams and the orchestra Mannheim Steamroller. The title of the composition was originally "Classical Gasoline" but was changed to "Classical Gas" by the music copyist. On the original recording, Williams plays classical guitar and is accompanied by an orchestral backing. The orchestral arrangements for the composition were written by Mike Post, who was also its music producer. It was released in February 1968 on the album The Mason Williams Phonograph Record. In August 1968 it reached Number 2 on the American charts and went on to sell over a million copies; it also topped the Billboard Easy Listening survey.[1][citation needed] Williams re-recorded it as a solo guitar piece on his 1970 album Hand Made. In 1987, he recorded a version with the Mannheim Steamroller. Williams was the head writer for The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour at the time of the piece's release and premiered the composition on the show ...

A compilation of Christmas carols and excerpts of well-known classical pieces. A contemplative, instrumental piece for those who would enjoy 10 minutes of reflective time on our Savior's birth. The idea was inspired by my dad, Hank Lankford, who had heard Beethoven's 2nd movement of the Pathetique Sonata interwoven with Silent Night on the radio.
