Ferrari SP12 EC - Eric Clapton's £3m 458 in London
Facebook: on.fb.me Twitter: www.twitter.com Car Blog: www.shmee150.co.uk My Vlogs bit.ly ------------------------------------------ INFO BELOW! ------------------------------------------ This is the new Ferrari SP12, a Special Project creation built for Eric Clapton for a cost of £3m over a period of 2 years. The car is based on the framework and engine of the Ferrari 458 Italia but features numerous design changes to tweak it back to an appearance of Ferraris of old including the 512 Boxer and the headlights from the Enzo. The car had originally planned to be a 12 cyclinder version but clearly this was too much to ask and as such it seems to run the V8 and controls of the normal car. This footage was shot for Shmee150, fairly discretely hence the wobbles and lack of focus while the car was outside. I must apologise for the imperfect quality but felt the unique footage of this one-of-one car was worth posting. Some photos can be found here: flic.kr Thanks for watching, Tim
Mark Knopfler, Sting, Eric Clapton, Phil Collins - Money For Nothing - Music For Montserrat 1997
Music For Montserrat was a concert held on September 15, 1997 at the Royal Albert Hall. Musicians came together to raise funds for the Caribbean island of Montserrat after a major volcanic eruption earlier that year had left the island devastated. The concert starred musicians such as Phil Collins, Ray Cooper, Carl Perkins, Jimmy Buffett, Mark Knopfler, Sting, Elton John, Eric Clapton, Paul McCartney, Midge Ure, Arrow and many more, all of whom had once recorded at the island's famous AIR Studios. The concert was arranged and produced by George Martin, with proceeds from the show evening, DVD and CD, used for immediate relief and also helping fund the building of a new cultural center in Montserrat. On completion in 2006, George Martin gifted the centre to the islanders. For Carl Perkins this was his last major live performance as he died just over four months later on January 19, 1998.

Eric Clapton "Forty Four" live at Apollo 2/24/12
Video by Michael Matza This was Eric Clapton, Jody Williams and others performing "Forty Four" at the Apollo in tribute to Hubert Sumlin. Hubert recorded Forty Four with Howlin' Wolf. I haven't seen Eric play this since videos from the 90's on his Nothing But The Blues tours. I was a baby when Clapton did that tour, so this was really special for me. I wanted fans to see how it sounds today. He usually plays this song on a Gibson so it was different to hear it on his strat. I saw he recently recorded Forty Four with Wynton Marsalis for their live DVD. Vocals still heavy as ever! It would be fantastic if he did that tour again. Please do whatever you can do to donate to keep poor blues musicians in their homes and able to afford healthcare. jazzfoundation.org Check out some of my Clapton covers if you wish on my channel! -Michael Matza

PG's Rebecca Dirks is On Location at the Fender Visitor Center for an exclusive first look at Fender's first ever signature amp line. Listen to the EC Vibro-Champ, EC Tremolux, and EC Twinolux in our demo. All three amps are handmade in the United States (watch our video of one being made inside the factory: www.premierguitar.com with interesting mods under the hood specified by Clapton himself. These include a '50s-era output tube bias tremolo circuit (which produces a more throbbing pulse than later Fender tremolo circuits) and a switchable power attenuator that reduces speaker output (and can disable one speaker in EC Twinolux for even lower output). Vibro-Champ MSRP $1399 (Street $999) Tremolux MSRP $2799.99 (Street $1999) Twinolux MSRP $4199.99 (Street 2999)
Eric Clapton,Jeff Beck,Jimmy Page-Complete ARMS Concert @ MSG (12-8-83)
Watch this on Full Screen because it's in HD thanks to You Tube Editor. I created this video with the YouTube Video Editor (www.youtube.com I paid 40 dollars for my ticket to Friday's show and Eric was solid,Jeff stole the show and Jimmy got the biggest applause on that day. Just like in this video. I wish i had a copy of Friday's show and if you have it please contact me. The difference between the 2 shows is that Ronnie didn't perform with Eric but he climbed down from his seat behind the stage to join the band for Layla,Little Help From My Friends and Goodnight Irene. ARMS Concert en.wikipedia.org The idea for hosting the concert was envisaged by Ronnie Lane, ex-bassist for The Small Faces and The Faces, himself a casualty of multiple sclerosis. The concert was billed as The Ronnie Lane Appeal for ARMS and featured a star-studded line-up of British musicians, including Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Steve Winwood, John Paul Jones, Andy Fairweather-Low, Bill Wyman, Kenney Jones and Charlie Watts. The concert was particularly notable in the fact that it was the first occasion on which Clapton, Beck and Page, each a former lead guitarist for The Yardbirds, had performed together on stage. The ARMS charity concert proved so popular with both the audience and the musicians that the decision was taken to perform a further nine concerts in the USA. The US dates included Joe Cocker, who notably sang lead vocals on "With a Little Help from My Friends", and Clapton, Jeff ...
Holy Mother - Clapton, Pavarotti
(Lyrics) This Spadecaller Video features Holy Mother written by Eric Clapton and Stephen Bishop and the visual arts of Matthew Schwartz. Holy mother, where are you? Tonight I feel broken in two I've seen the stars fall from the sky Holy mother, can't keep from crying Oh I need your help this time Get me through this lonely night Tell me please which way to turn To find myself again Holy mother, hear my prayer Somehow I know you're still there Send me please some peace of mind Take away this pain I can't wait, I can't wait, I can't wait any longer I can't wait, I can't wait, I can't wait for you Holy mother, hear my cry I've cursed your name a thousand times I've felt the anger running through my soul All I need is a hand to hold Oh I feel the end has come No longer my legs will run You know I would rather be In your arms tonight When my hands no longer play My voice is still, I fade away Holy mother, then I'll be Lying in, safe within your arms
