This new model, introduced in 2011, does away with all that in favour of practicality, comfort and style. As a result it's not the most exciting car in this segment to drive, but it's large boot and cosseting ride are merits that some drivers will find hard to overlook. The range of engines is good and the C4 is the first to get Citroen's e-HDi micro-hybrid system which offers impressive performance and low emissions. Citroen DS3 Racing Promo Video
Trading on its WRC credentials, Citroen has developed a sport version of the DS3 with a 1.6 liter THP engine pumped up to 200 PS (147 kW / 197 hp) and 275 Nm (203 lb-ft) of torque. The track has also been widened by 30 mm from the standard DS3, both front and back, the suspension stiffened and lowered by 15 mm, and the steering has been tightened too. The DS3 Racing features the same design as the standard model but comes fitted with a host of carbon finished body panels. Those parts include the semi-rigid front bumper, a rear spoiler, side-door moldings, and the lower-body trim and wing extensions which accentuate the 18-inch sport wheels. Other details include the chrome-finished exhaust pipe and the LED lights at the front.

The Citroën GT is a concept car that has been developped by Citroën and Polyphony Digital, the studio behind the famous game Gran Turismo. Indeed, this car was meant only for the videogame, but the people liked it so much, Citroën actually BUILT the damn thing! Apparently there were meant to be 6 Citroen GT in the world, for a price of 1,5 million euros. But they didn't commercialize the concept, so I'm leaning rather towards a UNIQUE model (although apparently 6 or 7 were made, but this is the only one we see out there so...). This car has a V8 engine that gives 640 horse power to the beast, giving it the opportunity to reach the speed of 330 km/h. I hope you can hear the engine noise as much as I did in real life = it's really loud !!! The Citroën Survolt (electric car) is also there! ;) This was taken today during the Citroën Creative tour, at the Invalides in Paris (métro invalides). This event will be held until sunday 26th (june 2011). So you still have time to go and see this beast on the road (test drives at 11AM, 2PM and 5PM). It's good looks on the outside are matched by an interior that's both well build and stylishly designed. Seats fold flat, and there is a huge boot. All versions, even basic VTR models, offer air conditioning and a host of airbags and safety aids. The two diesel engines are favourable over petrol, as they're more economical. A massive 500-litre boot extending to 1734 litres (with the rear seats folded) means the C4 Picasso is about equal to rivals like the Renault Scenic (437 - 1837 litres) and the Peugeot 5008 (512 - 1604 litres). Touches like deep door pockets, under-floor storage and seats that fold down individually with the simple tug of a lever make the Citroen a great family car. The Citroën SURVOLT is a 100% electric car that has been developped by Citroën. This car made its official debut at the 2010 Geneva Auto show. You gotta love the feel of this car, inspired by "haute couture", greatly mixed with performance and automotive racing legacy. It has 300 horse power, with a top speed of 162 mph (260km/h), doing the 0-100km/h in under 5s. This electric car definitely has a great sound for what it is: you can litterally feel the power delivered by the electric engine. This was taken today during the Citroën Creative tour, at the Invalides in Paris (métro invalides). This event will be held until sunday 26th (june 2011). In the first 15 minutes of the show, 743 orders were taken, and orders for the first day totalled 12000.[4] As with all French cars, the DS design was affected by the tax horsepower system, which effectively mandated very small engines. Unlike the Traction Avant predecessor, there was no top-of-range model with a powerful six cylinder engine. Citroën had planned an air-cooled flat-6 engine for the car, but did not have the funds to put the prototype engine into production.
