Pres Chou felt that there was nothing special about the clothes he wore in the Paddy Fragrance MV, but some felt that it has slight resemblance to the Japanese gangster image. Jay Chou Piano Battle & Secret Duet (Live Performance)
Complete live performance of the Piano Battle (斗琴) & improvised piano theme -- "Secret" from Jay Chou's '07 movie Secret (不能说的秘密) in Malacca, Malaysia by Matthew Ong Bin Han (me - on the right) and Chong Ding Hang. The Secret Duet unfortunately didn't turn out as awesome as it should 'cause the volume wasn't equal. It's not perfect - I didn't do the one-hand for fear of mistakes as we only had a short time to prepare for this performance. I could, but not at full speed at that time. Hope you'd still enjoy it though! For those who want the scores for battles 1-3, go to www.gangqinpu.com and search. The scores for battles 1 & 2 are pretty OK but a few amendments must be made for battle 3. You can refer to my performance vid to note the changes. The notes for the left-hand solo are slightly different frm the movie's, so you've gotta improvise - it's not impossible. As for Secret, there are many versions on the site, so be sure to choose the closest match to the original.
