Assad in control of chemical weapons
Deputy IDF Chief of Staff Maj.-Gen. Yair Naveh said on Tuesday that despite the ongoing upheaval in Syria, President Bashar Assad is still in control of Syria's advanced weaponry, including its chemical weapons arsenal. According to Naveh Syria has spent $3 billion in recent years on advanced Russian surface-to-air missile (SAM) systems and the proliferation of these system needs to concern not just Israel, says Naveh, but also the entire world. Naveh also said that today Hezbollah has 60000 rockets and missiles, including a number of M600s that have superior range and a high level of accuracy.

Banned chemical weapon for use in UK?
The UK government may consider the development of chemical weapons for domestic law enforcement, that's according to the national academy of sciences. The group of experts has asked UK officials to clarify their intentions for the substances. The nerve gases being discussed were banned from military use nearly 20 years ago. Chemical blast video: Twin explosion hits Japan plant
Two explosions at a chemical plant in western Japan on Sunday killed one worker and injured 22 others, including plant workers and nearby residents. The blasts occurred at Mitsui Chemicals Iwakuni-Ohtake plant as workers were trying to shut down the factory due to a problem in another section of the plant. Mitsui Chemicals, which is based in Waki in Yamaguchi Prefecture, produces adhesives for wood and rubber tyres. The first explosion occurred at about 2 am local time, killing a 22-year-old factory employee and injuring 11 employees. At 8 am local time a second explosion was caught on a surveillance camera, but the buildings were evacuated beforehand and no was hurt. More than 430 buildings, including nearby homes, were damaged in the blast. The fire department and police are investigating what caused the massive explosions. According to the police, there were no dangers of toxic leakage. The flames were brought under control about 15 hours after the second explosion. If you have colored plaster or a Vinyl pool watch a supplemental video for those pools: www.youtube.com To learn about Conditioner: youtu.be To calculate your pool volume (how many gallons): youtu.be I cover the chemicals you will need, how to treat yellow algae and the basic chemical test. In addition to the chemicals covered here you may need one or two others. You might need Alkalinity Up if your Alkalinity drops below 70 ppm you will need to raise it. Otherwise your plaster will start to form stains in a topography type style (like a map in a book that shows different elevations). It's known as mottling in the industry. You might want to replace the liquid chlorine with the Dichlor granular chlorine which has a much longer shelf life. The liquid chlorine will degrade (lose its chlorine level over time). You may need to add Conditioner, but if you use tablets all year small amounts of conditioner is released. Most pool Technicians now agree that your Conditioner level should be around 30-50ppm. S o you may need 3 or 5 pounds (Salt pools also need a slight amount of Conditioner even though Chlorine is produced on a daily basis, the sun can still be too much for a pool with no conditioner). Again, I use Yellowtrine only and no other Algae chemicals. It is highly effective. If your pool is totally covered in algae use at least 4-5 capfuls and 4 gallons ...

Chemical poison? Yellow cloud chokes Russian Urals
At least one hundred people sought medical help and eight were hospitalized after dangerous chemical has leaked from a transport container in the Urals. Up to ten glass containers holding bromine were smashed at a train station in the city of Chelyabinsk. Bromine is a strong-smelling dark-red liquid that changes easily into a gas causing serious breathing difficulties. Chemical cloud has spread for several kilometers leaving a strong unpleasant smell in the air. Citizens are advised to stay home, children have been evacuated from neighboring areas.
