Dingle Ireland - Celtic Legend
To read the article visit www.eurodestination.com The Dingle Peninsula in Kerry, Ireland, has to be one of the most spectacularly beautiful places on Earth. I was warned the weather was not going to be great this week, but as it turned out the sea mist that so regularly shrouds the headland at this time of year made the whole place seem even more ethereal than usual. The only downside was not being able to see the mountain tops or even to get the opportunity of viewing the scenery from the top of Mount Brandon. Down below, however, the sea was just something else, and since it was still pretty humid, it was a delight to swim in, even though I was slightly lumbered with my camera equipment and my car etc. I stayed at the Benners Hotel in Dingle, the oldest hotel in the town, which is the most westerly town in mainland Europe. It's right in the centre of town, with great staff, service and most importantly a vibrant bar area. Having travelled for two days beforehand and slept in a tent the night before, I was particularly pleased at the great night's sleep, and even more so at the enormous breakfast I hovered the next morning to prepare myself for a day of filming along the Dingle. It took me most of a day to get from Dingle to Slea Head (00:52), mainly because I was compelled to stop literally every 200 metres to take another clip of the magnificent views. This is a video about Celtics 43rd championship victory, from the 3-3 draw and title clinching 6-0 win both at Kilmarnock Firstly, credit to HolgerD1971 and StuartBhoy15, for footage of of Commons penalty miss v St.Johnstone and Forsters penalty save v Hearts respectively A lot of people were writing Celtic and their title chances off as they went in at half-time against Kilmarnock 3-0 down back in October. Rangers it seemed were cruising and would soon hold 15 point lead at the top of the table. The press, the so called experts had the title won, Celtic were in disarray it seemed and didn't have any chance of coming back Neil Lennon and Celtic had other ideas. From the moment Stokes buried that free-kick to make it 3-1, Celtic were possessed! They would stop at nothing towards the top of the table. Picking up over 15 consectutive wins in the league, goals galore, commanding performances from a team everyone had written off previously. No one could compete. Rangers were swept aside on the pitch while off it they imploded as their history came back to haunt them. It meant little on the pitch, Celtic had already overturned their 15 point lead by the New Year when deadly Joe Ledley struck the winner in the 2nd Old Firm. Not even a defeat in the 3rd one when we nearly fought back with 9 men could derail the Hoops. Celtic Panflute Compendium
A collection of Celtic music panflute videos that I have uploaded to YouTube. They range from Irish 'Humour' Pieces ("The Black Velvet Band") to 6th century Gaelic Hymns ("Oh Lord, I Sing Thy Praises").
