Bored with her trophies of stolen riches, Selina Kyle decides to take a girl's night out and go on the prowl and Catwoman. She spies a luxrious penthouse and decides to go windo shopping. Unfortunately, as Catwoman makes her rounds, she is quickly dissapointed to find out that three thugs have broken in to the same apartment and are now tearing it to shreds as they loot it. Enraged by their blatent dissrespect for the art of cat burglarly, Catwoman decides to teach them a lesson. A painful one at that. A WORD FROM CHRIS This movie was similar to most of the films I've done so far, but very different as well. After nearly three years of making movies, I've gotten a lot of feed back from my fans as well as critics and realized that there are certain things I gotta do to appease them. The biggest complaint- lighting. Yeah I know. In a lot of my previous films, I shot in the dark and when yer watching it online in low res, it's hard to understand what's going on. For that, I'm sorry. So for this movie, I decided to shoot it as brightly as possible. Not counting the outside roof scenes, everything else was pretty much well lit. The fight scene was the most important. I wanted everyone to know what Catwoman was doing so I wouldn't get any complaints. And what more obvious way to light a scene then to have the character actually flick on the lights? Next up, was the genre. I have already made horror movies, I've made action movies, but I haven't done much with sexy women kicking ...

So Anne Hathaway is going to be Catwoman in the new Batman film, Dark Knight Rises. No, disrespect to Hathaway or Michelle Pfeiffer, Eartha Kitt, Lee Meriwether, (let's forget the Halle Berry film) but I suspect I'm not alone in thinking that the best Catwoman will always be Julie Newmar from the 1966 TV series Batman starring Adam West and Burt Ward. Perhaps it is do with the fact that it was a TV show that I would watch as a kid and so she made an early fundamental impression. I still remember watching with my mother when I was about five and being puzzled when Catwoman and Batman seemed to be getting "friendly". The above video is my small tribute to Newmar as Catwoman and indeed the whole series; the femme fatale relationship with Batman seems to fit Something Wild perfectly. I've always cited the book Jonathan Livingstone Seagull by Richard Bach as the first instance of what Joseph Campbell termed "following my bliss" but having compiled the "Catwoman" video I'm starting to think that it was the 1966 Batman TV series, which I was crazy about as a boy. My father had to put bars up in my bedroom window to stop me climbing out on to the porch above the front door (I suspect you couldn't do that these days - Social Services would be round like a shot) and my grandmother went to great pains to try and make me a proper mask and cape. Hey movie buffs, Joshua Ovenshire here filling in for Tatiana Carrier with Clevver Movies and I'm here to finally defend Anne Hathaway who will be playing Catwoman in the Dark Knight Rises next summer. Today, hero Complex released a story about a scene they able to get a sneak peak at from Rises that really shows off the feline anti-hero. . It was described to us as an anxiety filled scene where a bunch of Gotham citizens are being held hostage as one last prisoner is brought in. Once the hood is removed, we see none other than Bruce Wayce absolutely helpless. Then from the top of a stair case we see her, Catwoman in full garb, emphasis on the stilletos with edges capable of leaving a good scratch. After a few lines we are fully aware that Catwoman means business in Nolan's final installment on his Batman trilogy. . Since day one, of Anne Hathaway being announced to play Selina Kyle, people have been way to weary on if she can pull it off. Me, I KNEW she could pull it off. And with this scene and what we've all been teased with in the trailer, Anne pulls off this character flawlessly. See, Catwoman is more than just a character, she's a persona.
