Camden Town Market in London is one of the most interesting and diverse places to visit in the UK. There are actually several markets in Camden and there are many distinct items on sale including unique T-Shirts, Jewellery and world foods. There are also plenty of 'Earthy' places to eat and some very poor ones too! This busy part of Camden is in steep contrast to the quieter and 'cheaper' side which will be covered in another video in 1080p HD.
A look at Camden Market in London (HD)
Camden Market Feb 2010, London. I think it's probably one of the best, if not *the* best, markets in the world. It's mainly for alternative lifestyles, and you'll see goths, punks, rockers, emos & eskimos all join together in one bizarre gathering. You could walk round there all day and still not see everything. The market's changed so much since the re-vamp, but it's an improvement. I used to go there a lot in my yoof to buy bootleg records. The market now seems a lot bigger and you'll see a lot of huge statues around. Mostly horse sculptures, because part of the market used to be a horse stable (established in 1854). The facilities have improved too, and I would guess there are a lot more stalls selling everything from art to old collectable toys. I put together this video montage for anyone to take a look. 06-09-11 City of Camden 12+ Alarm Fire
On June 9th, 2011 the Camden City Fire Department was distpatched to the intersection of Chestnut and Orchard Streets for a Building fire. Upon arrivial Ladder Company 2, Squad 7 and Battalion 1 Glassman reported heavy fire in a three story vacant structure with exposure issues. Ladder 2 and Squad 7 immediately went into service to protect the exposures on the "D" side of the building. Battalion 1 and Car 1 Harper eventually called a total 12 alarms plus 2 more for a seperate exposure. Companies from Camden, Gloucester and Burlington Counties were called in to help battle the blaze that consumed two city blocks. There were a few minor firefighter injuries. The cause of this blaze is under investigation.

Billy Graham Preaching at Camden Yards in Baltimore, MD July 7, 2006 (His Final Public Sermon)
This was the final time Billy Graham spoke to a mass audience in public, at the Camden Yards ballpark in Baltimore, Maryland. I was in the audience for this event. Initially we were told it would just be his son speaking and Billy would be there to give a brief speech before the sermon, however it turned out to be the opposite. This video was posted on Billy's website for a time after the event, I'm not sure if they still have it up there but here it is. God bless.
