Buenos Aires is the capital and largest city of Argentina. Buenos Aires city is located within the Province of Buenos Aires on the southern shore of the Río de la Plata, on the southeastern coast of the South American continent, but is not the capital of the province, nor even part of it. Greater Buenos Aires is the third largest conurbation in Latin America, with a population of about 13 million. After the internal conflicts of the 19th century, Buenos Aires was federalised and removed from Buenos Aires Province in 1880. The city limits were enlarged to include the former towns of Belgrano and Flores, which are both now neighbourhoods of the city. Buenos Aires (English: Fair Winds or Good Air (see Names of Buenos Aires), pronounced [ˈbwe.nɔs ˈaj.ɾɛs]) was originally named after the sanctuary of "Nostra Signora di Bonaria"[citation needed] (Italian for "Our Lady of Fair Winds", also known as "Virgine de Bonaria") in Cagliari, Sardinia. In the 1994 constitution the city became autonomous, hence its formal name: Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires. People from Buenos Aires are called porteños (people of the port). El grupo lleva ya 23 años presentándose por todo el mundo, siendo el grupo chileno con mayor proyección internacional desde hace muchos años, y hasta la actualidad. Gondwana, de crecimiento a pasos agigantados en Argentina, realizó más de 65 shows en solo dos años en este territorio. En una de estas presentaciones, en agosto del 2009, registró en El Teatro Colegiales colmado de fans, su cd en vivo y su primer DVD. Masterizado por mario Superman en Loto Azul y con la dirección del dvd a cargo de Fernando Di Carlo para Nestarocker. El DVD cuenta con invitados de lujo, como Bahiano, Dread Mar I, Juanchi Baleirón (Los Pericos) y Chelo Delgado (Zimbabwe Reggae Band). Este show registrado fue muy especial para la banda, en donde recorrió toda su discografía, con versiones de temas que el grupo hace mucho no tocaba, más los clásicos de siempre.
