I discovered later that the $3500 guitar was severely damaged. They didnt deny the experience occurred but for nine months the various people I communicated with put the responsibility for dealing with the damage on everyone other than themselves and finally said they would do nothing to compensate me for my loss. So I promised the last person to finally say no to compensation (Ms. Irlweg) that I would write and produce three songs about my experience with United Airlines and make videos for each to be viewed online by anyone in the world. What happened is, my band was playing at the bar and after 2nd set this drunk woman walked up on-stage and while staggering around she tripped on my patch-cord and sent my guitar smashing onto the stage off of it's guitar stand and this caused my head-stock to snap. A guy that was in the club (who said he was a carpenter) told me to not try doing anything until someone who knows what they're doing could look at it. So, on his advice, I have not touched the guitar since, even the strings are still on it! I loved that guitar, is there any way to fix something like this -- I realize that it may never be the same again, but I'd still like to have it around the apartment as a guitar to just jam on without having to spend hundreds of dollars to repair it. UBG#2 -On Tuesday August 5 we reconvened at the field behind the Station 41 fire department in Waverley NS to shoot the second video in the trilogy, United Breaks Guitars Song 2. Once again, everyone volunteered their time and talent to produce an outstanding video; however, Song 2 was a much bigger production than United Breaks Guitars. In addition to the main roles, we had nearly 100 extras in the cast and in order to say everything we wanted to say with the video, we required a broken guitar, an imitation broken guitar, a 40 foot high scissor lift, a limousine (complete with secret service agents), one genuine imitation space capsule, a space suit, a tuba, 3 suits of German Lederhosen, a canoe, one white panel van and a woman willing to wear tights and a big dollar sign.

"Broken" Acoustic Cover - Seether

Check this site for tabs made by R0mmy: imagedynamicsstore.com I learned most parts from him. I play the solo slightly differently, but he's amazing! ______ This is me playing "Broken" by Seether on my acoustic guitar (Washburn D-12). I put the "One Cold Night" version of the song under my guitar recording via Audacity, so that it wouldn't sound so empty. The video and audio were recorded seperatedly and I edited the whole thing in Windows Movie Maker. It's not 100% synchronous, but I did my best. =) I was off tempo a few times, too, but am happy with how it came out. Let me know what you think about it and if you have any suggestions! If you have one without the frame, you'll need to use quite a lot of heat like a 'paint stripping hot air gun' to soften the glue that holds the digitizer in place and then glue the new one back in. You can stop glass from going everywhere if you put sticky tape on both sides of the screen. If you find the HOME/MENU BUTTON doesn't work after repair: Hold the power button down for about 10 seconds or until you feel 3 buzzes, this does a hard reset. If a hard reset doesn't work, re-installing the firmware will fix this problem as you can read in the comments below. This problem doesn't seem to happen with the new Symbian update. _________________________________________________________ To replace a damaged LCD (AMOLED) or Digitizer you'll need: T5 or T4(both used in production) star type screwdriver. (search for torx on Maplin or Amazon) Plastic knife (or guitar pick) and some tweezers to grab the screws. Parts are very easy to find online. DIY repairs will void any warranty . Guitar Center Contestant DENIED 5 minute warm-up RULES BROKEN unfair!!!!!

I was depending on the 5 minutes the rules said I had to warm up and blend sound of guitar and backing track but GUITAR CENTER guy REFUSED to let me do a sound check with the back-up HOW DO YOU DO A SOUND CHECK WITHOUT THE SOUND ????? then to top it off!!!!!!!!~ the host changed my volume after they forced me to start playing... What good is a sound check that you don't get if you change the volume on the guy??? It was very important to me to make a musical statement, to demonstrate the proposition that "it isn't as much like the blues if you couldn't play it drunk" or --really-- to say that the blues is largely an improvisational musical expression, not a classical-like or pop-like composition in 12 bars and with string bends and vibrato that is the same each time, not taking into consideration the mood of the audience, the moment, the extemporaneous expression of the performer. The way this contest was handled, I didn't get a chance to do that fairly. Other guitarists in my competition were allowed many minutes to set up their effects and get their "tone' I decide to just plug in clean and play so that I had more time for actual sound check with the backing track. THE GUY WON't let me play with the backing track, as you can see on the tape. Even when i asked how it was possible to do a sound check without the sound. I had 5 minutes planned. 5 minutes are what the rules allowed me but the guy hosting the contest DIDN'T!!!!! That shook me up and the extemporaneous ...

"Rabbit in Your Headlights" by UNKLE & Thom Yorke re-imagined by the Rabbits in my Head You are experiencing a song being played by instruments as well as those same instruments being replayed by the video editing software itself. I recorded the core track (broken guitar, vocals, Theremin) and then played back the track while singing along with myself; recording all of that with the on-board Mac camera. Then, through the spontaneity of editing 10mins of video, the accompanying sound clips became rearranged, chopped up, warped, and time-bent. i saw a few other charts out there, but most of them were riddled with note inaccuracies. so i decided to make one myself. it's still probably not COMPLETELY accurate (what you see in the video is the first draft, which i did by ear), but it's reaaaalllllllly close (i hope), and at least MUCH more accurate than other charts. song name is "le Internet Medley" by The GAG Quartet. original video is here: www.youtube.com download the chart for use in your legal copy of GH3 here!: gha.theantifanboy.com expert difficulty only. currently no support for Phase Shift. also, this features both guitar and bass. i split the audio file into two and made it so that the guitar parts came from the left speaker and the bass parts from the right, if you want to try and compare the note charts to the actual instrument performances. i wanted to chart all the instruments, but i've never charted keys, vocals, or drums before. plus, GH3 only accepts guitar and bass, so... maybe someday in the future when we start using phase shift instead of guitar hero. :P also, this is a bot performance. i'd have played it myself instead of letting the bot do the work, but for some reason, GH3 for PC does NOT want to cooperate with multiple RB stratocasters, and those are all i have left, since my GH guitars are broken. plus, GH guitars make my hands hurt like hell. stupidly dimensioned necks and such.
