Christmas Day With Brianna (Family Quality Time)
Here is Christmas day at home like we have every year. Brianna, her big sister and her dad visit relatives on Christmas Eve and they receive gifts on both days. Christmas is about family getting together and have a great time. I keep the bigger presents wrapped in the master bedroom under the other tree some things were too big to wrap but the gifts are brought out after they look at the unwrapped presents. Brianna's Bedroom Tour Recently after Flood Damage From the Worst Storm in 25 Years
We have had many requests within the last few months for us to do some room tours. We took your advice and produced a video doing a room tour. Unfortunately there was a devastating flood from one of the worst storms in over 25 years. People have lost their homes, some washed down into the river and some off the hillside. It was devastating for many. Some houses collapsed and roofs caved in. Some school building caved in so some schools have been closed. We were fortunate enough to only have flood damages downstairs which have been fixed after two weeks of cleaning, pulling up the carpet, drying everything. Now we are planning to put everything back in place this weekend. It will be very busy here. Brittany's little sister Brianna was able to show her room tour although she was in the middle of moving her room downstairs just as the flood came so there has been some things that had to be taken care of. Brittany will soon be doing a room tour if we receive enough requests for her as well. Cooking Manicotti With Brittany and Brianna
Here we are cooking one of our favorite Italian foods called manicotti. The ricotta cheese we used was in a 30 OZ container so that equals about a little over 3 cups. We just noticed that our title was supposed to say 3 1/2 cups not 2 cups, just a typo mistake. If you really want to kick up the flavor try to find some Impastata Ricotta, thats the best tasting Italian ricotta and can be hard to find. We will also make a video on how to make the manicotti shells from scratch instead of buying ready made shells. You can also use a half tsp of salt in the filling but we don't use salt in our recipe due to watching our sodium intake. Healthy Snacks For Kids With Brittany and Brianna
Here are two little girls named Brittany and Brianna from All4tubekids showing us some healthy snacks. Eating fruits and vegetable and some tuna are very healthy alternatives to eating candy and chips. Fruits give you energy from the natural sugars. Eating these healthy snacks will help you avoid a sugar meltdown or crash. These healthy snacks are loaded with antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. Just wanted to say that I have made aa recent decision to put my foot down about healthy eating habits in the home. I made this decision a week before this video was made. I am working on getting my wife to support me with healthy eating so my kids can benefit from this 100 percent. If you have two parents in the home it takes two of them to work together to make eating healthy a consistent good habit for the kids. This really works great when two parents agree! Brittany and Brianna have been feeling more energy in the last two weeks since I enforced this in the entire house on April 1, 2008. I was working 3 nights after teaching at school for the last 2 years and decided that those 3 nights I needed to be home to ensure that they are getting the best nutrition that I can offer them. I am the Italian chef of the house according to what my friends and family say! Italian food does not always mean PASTA.
