This event commemorated the Philadelphia Campaign of 1777 during the American Revolution which included the Battles of Cooch's Bridge (September 3), Brandywine (September 11) and Germantown (October 4), ultimately resulting in the capture of Philadelphia by the British and the encampment of Washington's Continental Army at Valley Forge.

Battle of Brandywine Creek After landing from his transport ships on the American coast, Major-General Sir William Howe led the British troops eastwards, with the intention of capturing Philadelphia. In preparation, American General George Washington readied most of his units to defend from this frontal assault around the narrow crossing of Chad's Ford on the Brandywine. The Creek flows through the countryside of Pennsylvania, enveloped by sheer cliffs and heavily wooded hills on both sides. Knowing that much of the fast-flowing creek could not be crossed, Washington was confident of holding his position. The footage has been captured with Fraps. The graphic settings were pretty much the highest, V-sync and AA turned off. For editing I used Adobe Premiere CS3. The music is from James Newton Howard and part of the Blood Diamond OST. 1940 Ford 2DR Sedan Candy Brandywine Hot Rod
Thought you'd like a look at this extremely slick 1940 Ford Hot Rod. It has a Mustang II front suspension with disc brakes and a 9in Ford in the back. It does have a small block Chevy under the hood, but it wouldn't be too difficult to switch it over to an all Ford powertrain. The leather interior is very well done and looks like new.
