"This Boy" is a song by British rock band The Beatles composed by John Lennon,and was first released in November 1963 as the B-side of the UK Parlophone single "I Want to Hold Your Hand". The Beatles performed it live on 16 February 1964 for their second Ed Sullivan Show appearance in the USA. It also appears as the third track on side one of US release, Meet the Beatles!. Contents Its composition was an attempt by John Lennon at writing a song in the style of Motown star Smokey Robinson, specifically his song "I've Been Good To You", which has similar circular doo-wop chord changes, melody and arrangement, and Paul McCartney cites The Teddy Bears 1959 hit To Know Him Is To Love Him as also being influential. Lennon, McCartney, and George Harrison join together to sing an intricate three-part close harmony in the verses and refrain (originally the middle eight was conceived as a guitar solo, but altered during the recording process) and a similar song writing technique is exercised in later Beatles songs, such as "Yes It Is" and "Because" (which, interestingly, are among the few Beatles songs which also feature three-part harmonies). An instrumental version of "This Boy", orchestrated by George Martin, is used as the incidental music during Ringo Starr's towpath scene in the film A Hard Day's Night. Jack has a terrible secret. He is really the notorious Boy A (Andrew Garfield) who committed a terrible crime when he was just a child. Recently released from a juvenile prison, he enters a world he has never been part of. He is haunted by his grim past, and is more a boy than a man at 24. His caseworker Terry (Peter Mullan) sees the good in him and does everything in his power to give Boy A a second chance. Boy A chooses the name Jack and is set up with a job, a home and the opportunity for a new life. At his job he forms adult relationships for the first time. He bonds with Chris (Shaun Evans) and finds a girlfriend in Michelle (Katie Lyons), both co-workers who witness Jack's newfound compassion and loyalty. Others are drawn to his shy, kind ways. As relationships develop, he is torn between the deceit in concealing his past and the potential exoneration by revealing his crime. Jack no longer doubts his capacity to love and has more to lose than ever. He seeks Terry's approval to confess the truth to Michelle but is implored to keep his secret for fear of his own safety. Spending 14 years in prison has done nothing to persuade the public he's paid his dues. Accompanying his release is a widespread, media frenzy which re-ignites public indignation. The crime and trial are covered as current news and feed a hunger for revenge. Although Jack bears little resemblance to the young Boy A, it becomes increasingly clear that the past may be impossible to escape.

Raju Malhotra (Emraan Hashmi) and Rajan Malhotra (Tusshar Kapoor) study in the same college but are poles apart in everything. While Raju is a brat, poor in studies but good in sports, Rajan is a brilliant student but a zero in extracurricular activities. The college they study in has a new and strict principal Mr. Awasthi (Paresh Rawal) who wants to transform this ill-reputed college into a most flocked one. Hence he divides the students according to their merit. So while Raju is fit for C section comprising of poorly faring students, Rajan easily gets access to the A section with his 90% marks. But Raju falls for a girl in A-section and hence swaps his place with a hesitant Rajan who enters C-section for the first time in his life. Mr. Awasthi comes to know of this and decides to teach them a lesson by sending their names to a quiz and dance competition. So now, geeky Rajan will have to dance while brat Raju will have to answer question hurled at him. What will Raju and Rajan do? Will they accept the challenge or just scoot off?
