But it was not only poise of course, Bolan was a rocker to the bone as can be seen in this excerpt of Ringo Starr's film Born to Boogie, a documentary showing a T.Rex concert at Wembley Empire Pool on 18 March 1972 where Marc is taking Get It On, his No1 mega-hit to the cleaners a la Hendrix, enjoy.

Cuddly Toys found a bootleg tape of an unreleased, half-written song by David Bowie & Marc Bolan (written around the time of the 'Marc' TV show) - and made it their own! From the album 'Guillotine Theatre' released on CD in Summer 2007 on Jungle, together with a DVD with this and 5 other promo clips, plus video messages to their Japanese fan-club and Guillotine Theatre live at the Music Machine filmed on Super 8. Cuddly Toys had previously been glam-shock-punk band 'Raped' 1977-79. After the GT album a different line-up made the 'Trials & Crosses' album. RIP singer Sean Purcell. Offset asymmetrical 14 inch wide solid alder body. One-piece maple neck with a medium profile. Brazilian rosewood 'veneer' fretboard with 22 jumbo frets and clay dot position markers. Headstock with matching "Sea Foam Green" finish and decal with "Fender" logo in gold with black trim, "Jaguar" in black in bold letters, and three patent numbers in black below. With "Offset Contour Body" at the ball end of the headstock. Single "butterfly" string tree with metal spacer.
