Jimmy Castor (born 23 June 1947, New York[1]) is an American pop and funk musician. He is best known as a fun disco/funk saxophonist, with his biggest hit single being 1972's million seller, "Troglodyte (Cave Man)". Castor started as a doo-wop singer in New York..He wrote and recorded "I Promise to Remember" in 1956. Castor then replaced Frankie Lymon in The Teenagers in 1957 before switching to the saxophone in 1960. He had a solo hit with "Hey Leroy, Your Mama's Callin' You" on Smash Records in 1966. Castor also played sax on Dave "Baby" Cortez's hit "Rinky Dink." He formed the Jimmy Castor Bunch in 1972 and signed with RCA. As leader of The Jimmy Castor Bunch in the 1970s, and also as a solo artist, he has released several successful albums and singles. The group reached the peak of their commercial success in 1972 with the release of their album, It's Just Begun, which featured two hit singles: the title track and "Troglodyte (Cave Man)," which was a large hit in the US, peaking at #6 in the Billboard Hot 100. The track stayed in the chart for 14 weeks and was a million seller by 30 June 1972, and received a gold disc award from the RIAA Castor continued the trend in 1975 with "The Bertha Butt Boogie" and later recorded "E-Man Boogie," "King Kong," "Bom Bom," and "Potential." Bertha is easy. With water types and grass types WHICH YOU SHOULD HAVE ON YOUR TEAM, this will be a snap. I'm not going to dwell on a boring person like Bertha, she has a ton of weaknesses and that's all there is to it. Elite Four Bertha Specialty Ground Whiscash Level 50 Water/Ground Earth Power Aqua Tail Zen Headbutt Sandstorm Grass types, use them. Gliscor Level 53 Ground/Flying Earthquake Ice Fang Fire Fang Thunder Fang Got a good range of attacks, watch out for his fangs but he shouldn't be too much trouble with a good ice type. Hippowdon Level 52 Ground Earthquake Stone Edge Crunch Yawn Watch out for sandstorm. It will be annoying. Hippowdon doesn't have a 4x weakness so hit it powerfully. Golem Level 52 Rock/Ground Earthquake Sandstorm Fire Punch Thunder Punch FALCON PAWNCH Hardest pokemon on her team because of Falcon Pawnch. It's an instant KO so be very careful. Other than that, water and grass moves destroy it. It shouldn't be much difficulty aside from Falcon Pawnch. "Bertha was a short lived childrens television series on British TV, starting in April 1985. It lasted only a year. But what those who remember the series seldom remember is the true story behind Bertha. Her origins, the allegations of murder, the collapse of the company she worked for, the intolerance of her and the events that threatened to destroy her are covered in this documentary, Bertha : The True Story." --------------------------------------------------------------------------- This was an idea I had and decided to put everything else on hold to get this done while it was fresh in my mind. As usual, I thought it wouldn't take long to make, but I was wrong again. Yes, this is a pretty obscure idea for a video, and I was a little worried that people would think "What the hell is this?". But the few people who've seen it so far have been pretty positive about it, and I think there's enough of an intro to the series at the start to establish it was a real series back in the 80's, cos I doubt a lot of people will remember Bertha. Originally, the idea was how would Bertha have managed during two recessions, and what would happen to her if the company was closed down and she was switched off, and more real world ideas came from that, redundancies, new management with sweeping changes, industrial accidents, military intervention, vandalism, opportunists, media involvement. The closing title scenes were an afterthough at the end, but the Skyline/Postman Pat idea seemed ...

Manta Ray Kona Dive - Big Bertha, set to "Octopus' Garden"
A night dive off Kona, Hawaii, with manta rays. Big Bertha, measuring 14 feet, one of the largest and oldest in the area, can be seen about 40 sec in. She has been observed feeding in this spot for over 20 years, and now a couple of her offspring come in as well. The manta rays come to feed on the plankton attracted by the lights set on the ocean floor. The plankton is seen as red little dots in front of the lights.
