Bermuda is a British overseas territory in the North Atlantic Ocean. Located off the east coast of the United States, its nearest landmass is Cape Hatteras, North Carolina, about 1030 kilometres (640 mi) to the west-northwest. It is about 1350 km (840 mi) south of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, and 1770 km (1100 mi) northeast of Miami, Florida. Its capital city is Hamilton. Bermuda is the oldest and most populous remaining British overseas territory, settled by England a century before the Acts of Union created the Kingdom of Great Britain. Bermuda's first capital, St George's, was settled in 1612 and is the oldest continuously inhabited English town in the Americas. Our 7 days on the Norwegian Dawn from Boston to Bermuda, July 2011. We had a great time. Note: because of when we took the photos it often looks like there are few people on the ship. This could not be further from the truth. Also, you are not allowed to take photos or movies for many shows. And I did not always have my camera. The highlight of the trip? Two FANTASTIC musicians Fabrizio Caligaris and Ariel Jacobe, both piano players. Both are amazing.

Bermuda Tourist Things To Do in 1080P HD
Bermuda is an excellent group of small islands to visit! To many people's surprise, it's located off of the east coast of the United States and is not south of Florida in the Caribbean. The preferred method for transportation in Bermuda is motorcycle or scooter. Locals are only allowed to have one car per household and all cars on the islands are very compact in size. The food is excellent and the weather is incredible. The water is so clear and colorful that it looks fake. Definitely eat Bermudian Fish Chowder while in Bermuda and drink a rum swizzle! Confidence in riding a motorcycle or scooter is not a must (there are plenty of taxis) but it's definitely the most exciting and inexpensive way to explore the islands. For about $7 US worth of gas, one should be able to ride from one tip of the island to the other at least once without having to gas up. I strongly suggest renting a scooter from Oleander cycles and stopping everywhere that looks interesting. The locals are friendly and it's a safe place to explore. Some of the most popular spots are Horseshoe Bay, Elbow Beach, Hamilton, St. George's and the Royal Naval Dockyards. I recommend visiting all of these places but some of the less heard of places like Shelly Bay are some of the best spots! Also, be sure to tour the Crystal Caves. Oh and don't forget to wear a shirt while riding a scooter. I wanted to get a little extra tan while riding but was told that it's illegal to ride a motorcycle or scooter in Bermuda with ...

Crosses (†††) - Bermuda Locket
The Deftones' Chino Moreno's long-rumored project with Far guitarist Shaun Lopez has finally arrived, under the moniker Crosses (or †††). Back in March, in an interview with Noisecreep.com, Moreno elaborated on how Crosses came to be, stating: "Recently, during these little breaks that we've had, we've been recording this real minimal project where it's just me and him and another buddy of mine, Scott Chuck, and we're just writing these little pieces of music, whether it starts with piano or some down tempo beats." Moreno also described how the overall sound of Crosses is different from what Deftones fans are often attuned to: "It's really minimal and soothing and it's sort of like the stuff I like listening to when I'm not screaming my head off." Crosses finds Moreno and Lopez taking a more electronic-based approach with their music, as they pursue and discover new dreamscapes and craft an undercurrent of both haunting and attractive qualities. The results are quite impressive, and if the EP is any indication, we can surely expect more gems from this exciting collaboration in the near future. Hurricane Igor - Grotto Bay, Bermuda - September 18-19, 2010
On September 6th a large and complex area of disturbed weather associated with a tropical wave, moved off the west coast of Africa attended by two distinct areas of low pressure. The dominant low passed to the south of the Cape Verde islands while steadily increasing in organization, becoming a tropical depression on the morning of September 8th and reaching tropical storm strength later that day. For the next couple of days, Igor moved westward reaching hurricane strength late on September 11th. Rapid intensification ensued on September 12th and by late that afternoon, Hurricane Igor reached category four strength with maximum sustained winds of 135 mph (115 kts). An ERC (eyewall replacement cycle) began on September 13th which resulted in a slight weakening, followed by a new period of intensification, culminating in Hurricane Igor's peak intensity, with the storm producing maximum sustained winds of 155 mph (135 kts) and a minimum central pressure of 925 mb (27.32 mb) late on September 14th. During this time, Hurricane Igor was very near category five intensity. After reaching its peak, Hurricane Igor turned toward the west-northewst and began a slow weakening process over the next few days with several additional ERCs observed. By September 16th, the hurricane had weakened to category three intensity while its windfield continued to expand. Wednesday evenings in the city is a must as it features Bermuda's largest street festival, Harbour Nights. Enjoy late night shopping, special street performers, live entertainment and local arts and crafts. There are also plenty of activities for children to enjoy this truly Bermudian event. Bermuda Shipwreck, Lake Superior, near Munising, MI
This is one of my favorite shipwrecks. It's only 30 feet deep at the bottom and the deck is only about 10 feet deep. Even though this is shallow dive, it is a beautiful and fun wreck in a very sheltered bay. The Munising area is also very scenic, with the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore and many waterfalls in the area.

The Bermuda Triangle, also known as the Devil's Triangle, is a region of the northwestern Atlantic Ocean in which a number of aircraft and surface vessels have disappeared. Some people have claimed that these disappearances fall beyond the boundaries of human error or acts of nature.
