The Beatles - Live Washington Coliseum 1964 (DC, United States Remastered HD 1080p ORIGINAL)

Once again I uploaded the full concert of this first. Please tell me if the video's out of sync. It looked out of sync to me when I played it back but tell me if it is out of sync so I can fix it and upload a better version. The February 11th, 1964 concert at the Washington Coliseum, located at 3rd and M Streets NE, occurred during a cold and snowy night. It was the Beatles' first live American performance after their televised appearance on the CBS Ed Sullivan Show. They had arrived in DC earlier that day by train from New York. Before their show that evening, they also appeared at a brief press conference. At show time, there was a sold-out, over-capacity crowd of 8000 fans, by one count. When the Beatles came on, the place erupted with screaming and incessant flash bulbs. The Beatles played for nearly an hour. Because of the set up in the Coliseum, the Beatles were essentially performing on a boxing ring-type stage, and had to move their equipment around on stage a few times in order to give everyone in the audience a chance to see them. Ringo was seen moving his drum set around on stage between sets. The Beatles - Yesterday [HD]

Facebook: www.facebook.com Paul Performing Yesterday 1965 "Yesterday" is a song originally recorded by The Beatles for their 1965 album Help!. According to Guinness World Records, "Yesterday" has the most cover versions of any song ever written. The song remains popular today with more than 3000 recorded cover versions, the first hitting the United Kingdom top 10 three months after the release of Help!. Broadcast Music Incorporated (BMI) asserts that it was performed over seven million times in the 20th century alone. The song was not released as a single in the UK at the time of the US release, and thus never gained number 1 single status in that country. However, "Yesterday" was voted the best song of the 20th century in a 1999 BBC Radio 2 poll of music experts and listeners. In 2000, "Yesterday" was voted the #1 Pop song of all time by MTV and Rolling Stone Magazine. In 1997, the song was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame. "Yesterday" takes the form of a melancholic acoustic guitar ballad about a breakup. It was the first official recording by The Beatles that relied upon a performance by a single member of the band, namely, Paul McCartney. He was accompanied solely by a string quartet. The final recording differed so greatly from other works by The Beatles that the other three members of the band vetoed the release of the song as a single in the United Kingdom (however, in 1976 it was eventually issued as a single there). Although credited to "Lennon/McCartney ...

The Beatles - Live Festival Hall 1964 (Melbourne, Australia HD 1080p RARE)

In the afternoon George Harrison went driving in an MG in the Dandenong Mountains with tour organiser Lloyd Ravenscroft. Concerned with more important matters, John Lennon, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr had their hair cut in their hotel, the Southern Cross. This was The Beatles' last of three consecutive nights of shows in the city's Festival Hall, Each night they gave two concerts, which were enjoyed by a total of 45000 people. Cameras from the Australian Channel 9 recorded the sixth and final show of the Melbourne leg of the world tour. It was screened on 1 July 1964 as an hour-long special, The Beatles Sing For Shell, named after the oil company which sponsored the broadcast. Nine of The Beatles' Melbourne performances were included in the show: I Saw Her Standing There, You Can't Do That, All My Loving, She Loves You, Till There Was You, Roll Over Beethoven, Can't Buy Me Love, Twist And Shout and Long Tall Sally. During Long Tall Sally, a male audience member rushed onto the stage to shake John Lennon's hand. The Beatles' manager Brian Epstein had initially agreed to allow Channel 9 to show just 12 minutes of the performance. However, after watching the recording an hour after the show he had a change of heart and increased the limit to 20 minutes. In the end 22 minutes of The Beatles were included, the rest of the hour being footage of Australian and international performers. The only song from the set not broadcast was This Boy. Full bootleg recordings exist of ...

In 2006, George Martin and his son Giles were presented with a new project: a total mashup of the Beatles career into just over an hour, to be used for the new Cirque de Soleil of the name Love. The grammy-award winning album only uses Beatles recorded material to create a soundbed from the original two, four, and eight-track tapes. Using over 130 commercial and demo recordings, Love is, according to Giles Martin, "a way of re-living the whole Beatles musical lifespan in a very condensed period."

The Beatles - Penny Lane Promo Video

"Penny Lane" is a song by The Beatles, written by Paul McCartney, recorded during the Sgt. Pepper sessions, and released in February 1967 as one side of a double A-sided single, along with John Lennon's "Strawberry Fields Forever". The song was later included on the Magical Mystery Tour LP (1967). The single was the result of the record company wanting a new release after several months of no new Beatles releases. In 2004, Rolling Stone ranked the song at #449 on its list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. Background The song's title is derived from the name of a street in the band's hometown, Liverpool. The area that surrounds its junction with Smithdown Road is also commonly called Penny Lane. Locally the term "Penny Lane" was the name given to Allerton Road and Smithdown Road and its busy shopping area. Penny Lane is named after James Penny, an 18th century slave trader. McCartney and Lennon grew up in the area and they would meet at Penny Lane junction in the Mossley Hill area to catch a bus into the centre of the city. The street is an important landmark, sought out by most Beatles fans touring Liverpool. In the past, street signs saying "Penny Lane" were constant targets of tourist theft and had to be continually replaced. Eventually, city officials gave up and simply began painting the street name on the sides of buildings. This practice was stopped in 2007 and more theft-resistant "Penny Lane" street signs have since been installed though some are still stolen ...

the beatles "eleanor Rigby" with lyrics

Ah, look at all the lonely people Ah, look at all the lonely people Eleanor Rigby picks up the rice in the church where a wedding has been Lives in a dream Waits at the window, wearing the face that she keeps in a jar by the door Who is it for? All the lonely people Where do they all come from? All the lonely people Where do they all belong? Father McKenzie writing the words of a sermon that no one will hear No one comes near Look at him working. Darning his socks in the night when there's nobody there What does he care? All the lonely people Where do they all come from? All the lonely people Where do they all belong? Ah, look at all the lonely people Ah, look at all the lonely people Eleanor Rigby died in the church and was buried along with her name Nobody came Father McKenzie wiping the dirt from his hands as he walks from the grave No one was saved All the lonely people Where do they all come from? All the lonely people Where do they all belong?

The Beatles - Abbey Road Medley (Full) Conventional Stereo Mix

Copyright - 1969 EMI Records Ltd. READ THIS: For best audio quality watch the video in 720p 360p seems to cut off the bass frequencies and changes the listening experience, aside from adding in some horrible low quality sounds it's not how I intended it to be heard. The Abbey Road Medley, I remixed the medley to give it a more conventional stereo mix. For example the drums are centered instead of off to one side like they are on the original album version, but when there are 2 tracks of drums, like in carry that weight, they are still panned left and right as they were. Also included is the final chord of Her Majesty. If you're a Beatles purist you might not want to watch this as it is not how they intended it to be heard but it has been a fun project for me to work on over the past few weeks. And hey! you get to hear little tid bits that are harder to hear in the original mix like the tubular bells in You Never Give Me Your Money, bet you didn't even know they existed did you? (Don't tell me if you did, that'll just make me look like an idiot) And I fixed a few bum notes that were in there, I just copied the same note from the next verse. However if hearing the Beatles music mixed (in my opinion, better) is something you enjoy you may want to buy a copy of the Yellow Submarine Songtrack which includes many more conventional stereo mixes of other Beatles songs. Although this does have some problems ie there are some out of sync vocals and on Hey Bulldog even though the ...

The US LP was later adopted as the official version of the record when The Beatles' catalogue was updated for the 1980s digital Compact Disc releases. The album was remastered 9 September 2009 for the first time since its CD release. The soundtrack was a critical and commercial success, a #1 album in the US and Grammy-nominated, despite the relative critical and commercial failure of the Magical Mystery Tour film.

Pat Metheny - And I Love Her (The Beatles)

"The Beatles were huge for me. Without them, I don't know if I even would have become a musician or a guitar player. When their hits started coming out, I was 8 and 9 years old and it had a tremendous impact on me. I saw the movie "A Hard Day's Night" multiple times when it came out and I always loved that song. It is kind of impossible to imagine doing a record like this without including at least one Beatles song." - Pat Metheny Pat Metheny "What's It All About" | patmetheny.com / nonesuch.com

The beatles - Free As A Bird (HD)

"Free as a Bird" is a song performed by The Beatles. The single was released on 4 December 1995, as part of the promotion for the release of The Beatles Anthology video documentary and the band's Anthology 1 compilation album. The song had been written and recorded as a demo by John Lennon in 1977. Paul McCartney asked Lennon's widow Yoko Ono for any unreleased material by Lennon, and "Free as a Bird" was chosen as being the song all three remaining Beatles could be involved in, as they could finish the arrangement and write extra lyrics. Jeff Lynne of Electric Light Orchestra was asked to co-produce the record as he had worked with George Harrison as part of The Traveling Wilburys. The music video for "Free as a Bird" was produced by Vincent Joliet and directed by Joe Pytka (Space Jam) and depicts, from the point of view of a bird in flight, many references to The Beatles songs, such as "Strawberry Fields Forever," "Penny Lane", "Paperback Writer", "A Day in the Life", "Eleanor Rigby" and "Helter Skelter". "Free as a Bird" later won the 1997 Grammy Award for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal, and was The Beatles' 34th Top 10 single in America. It was the first of two singles by the group to become a Top 40 hit in the 1990s [the other being "Real Love" in 1996].
