HPI BAJA SS - OFF ROAD TIRES BASHING
Footage of my friend's BAJA 5b SS- 26cm3. We lately found a dry artificial lake which was perfect for testing the new tires. As you can see, these rear tires have much bigger studs than the original ones, more fun and control of the car. It's fast, fun, it has incredibly performing suspension, it goes everywhere despite being RWD, and is as noisy as a decent 125cc motorbike; Some 40mph shots, drifts, doughnuts and cool jumps. Notice some slight mods like shocks protection, plastic engine bay protection, some skid plates, however the mechanical parts and suspension are the original ones. Baja Brawl 2011 - Motocross
Millington, MI -- In its 10th year of combining motocross racing with family friendly events, the annual Baja Brawl kicked off last Friday at Baja Acres in Millington, Michigan. The Labor Day Weekend event drew racers and their families from over 20 states across the country, as well as parts of Canada, on September 2nd -- 5th, 2011. In typical Baja Brawl fashion, the summer motocross festival started with a variety of interactive events ranging from the MotoPlayground's "Goon Riding Championship" to a 200' Cobra Motorcycles Slip and Slide. The weekend also featured a variety of action sports competitions and demos including the Action Water Sports wakeboard and wakeskate winch park, the Otsego Club and Resort skate bowl, and BMX freestyle pond jump presented by Albe's. For the over 900 racer entries and 6300+ guests that attended the Baja Brawl, there was a surplus of excitement to be experienced, both on and off the motocross track. Even motocross moms had an event created exclusively for them in what was called the "Moto Mom Olympics" presented by the Great Lakes Grand Prix. "It's sometimes shocking to my family and I how many events we can fit into this 4 day event" said Baja Acres owner Patrick Grzbinski. "Thanks to our loyal sponsors, friends, and families, we're never short on great ideas and fun events that everyone can enjoy... our fans have made this event a great success". JCR/Honda Goes 1st and 2nd at the 2011 Baja 500
Johnny Campbell Racing gave American Honda the top two overall motorcycle finishing positions and their 15th straight Baja 500 title as Kendall Norman and Quinn Cody take the win and Honda's 16th overall motorcycle victory in the very demanding 452.84 mile SCORE Baja 500 with a winning time of 8:47:07 at 51.76 mph on a Honda CRF450X. Their times were the fastest of all vehicles on the course. This race marks the second straight overall SCORE Baja 500 race win for Norman and Cody. Norman now has five career race wins in this event in the last six years. It was the second triumph for Cody. Udall was teamed with Kamo for the first time as Johnny Campbell Racing dedicated the race to the memory of Udall's former teammate Jeff "OX" Kargola, who passed away recently following a motorcycle riding accident in Baja. During Saturday's race, the two JCR/Honda vehicles actually crossed the finish line together in what was one of the closest races in the history of the Baja 500. Early reports had the win going to the 0x bike ridden by Colton Udall and JCR/Honda newcomer David Kamo however after final data review the win was awarded to Norman/Cody. Both teams were racing identical Eric Siraton prepped Honda CRF450X's
