Russian Troops To Target Terrorist in America
Russian airborne troops are set to train how to target terrorists in America as part of a joint anti-terror drill with the United States which will take place in Fort Carson, Colorado at the end of next month. "Airborne troops from Russia and the United States would hold joint anti-terror drills in the US state of Colorado between May 24 and 31," reports the Xinhua news agency, citing Russian Defense Ministry Col. Alexander Kucherenko. The story was also reported by Russian news outlet RIA Novosti. The exercises, which will mark the first time the respective country's two airborne forces have held joint drills on US territory, will revolve around the the "reconnaissance of imaginary terrorists' camp and a raid," and will also involve evacuations of the troops by helicopter. The Russian soldiers will also be given access to US special service weapons at Fort Carson. However, the Russian troops won't just be confined to a US military base -- on May 27 they'll be out in the local community attending a baseball game in Colorado Springs. "This announcement comes at a time when Russia actually has troops working in cooperation with China," points out Business Insider's Eloise Lee, making reference to one of the largest ever Russian-Sino naval drills currently underway in the Yellow Sea. His brainwaves are being harnessed so he can play just by thinking about the next move. The secret is in the headgear developed by researchers from Berlin's Institute of Technology. Researcher Michael Tangermann explained: "What we are seeing here is a brain-computer interface. It is a connection between the computer and the brain and it reads the intention of the player and then converts it into a move. The player just needs to imagine which pawn he wants to move and where, then the computer recognises that and makes the move. So, the person can play without using his hands." Several electrodes measure brain activity in key areas and detect which piece the player intends to move. As soon as the player puts on the special cap, a system calibrates the software to recognise his or her specific traits. The brain-computer interface is not just for fun and games though. Bernd Kopacek, managing director of SAT in Austria, explained: "We have developed a machine which is mobile, that means we can move from one recycler to another recycler and extract rare and precious substances from electronic waste, mainly metals, like for example, gold or silver or copper, or yttrium, lithium and so on." The mobile recycling system sits inside a container - and is currently parked on the outskirts of Belgrade. The idea is to give small recycling companies new ways to extract precious metals from electronic junk. Francesco Veglio, Professor of Chemical Engineering at the University of L'Aquila in Italy, said: "As an example this is a powder that you find in cathode tubes, but this part of the waste that contains a large quantity of yttrium, nearly 10 per cent, is usually sent to the dump." The TV tubes are waste no more, as they are ground up and poured into the mix. Professor Francesco Veglio: "You could visualise our process as a bit like making coffee in the morning. We call this operation leaching. Water going through a solid that makes the coffee soluble. 'Al-CIA-Duh Bomber' Was a CIA Informant www.infowars.com Just one day after reports that the CIA had foiled a plot involving a "sophisticated underwear bomb" targeted against US airliners, the entire story has once again collapsed into a farce. Just as the FBI has been caught directing every major domestic terror plot, it turns out that the supposed "bomber" was actually a CIA informant. "US and Yemeni officials say the supposed would-be bomber at the heart of an al-Qaida airliner plot was actually an informant working for the CIA," reports the Associated Press. "Officials say the informant was working for the CIA and Saudi Arabian intelligence when he was given the bomb. He then turned the device over to authorities. Officials say the informant is safely out of Yemen." A shocking US Army manual that describes how "political activists," including American citizens, are to be indoctrinated in re-education camps also includes rules on forced labor and separating political prisoners by confining them in isolation. Aside from detailing how PSYOP teams will use "indoctrination programs to reduce or remove antagonistic attitudes," as well as targeting "political activists" with indoctrination programs to provide "understanding and appreciation of US policies and actions," the manual directs political prisoners to be separated from the rest of the camp population. On page 284, the manual (PDF) describes how "Malcontents, rabble-rousers, trained agitators, and political officers who may attempt to organize resistance or create disturbances within the I/R facility," are to be confined "in isolated enclosures to deny them access to the general population." The document also makes clear that the internment facility is not only a re-education camp but also a forced labor camp. Page 277 of the manual states, "Detainees constitute a significant labor force of skilled and unskilled individuals.
