About a year ago, the arnold announced that he was shopping around a new "Terminator" film to the major studios with him back in the lead role. Terminator fans were pretty excited about this news and now we learn that schwarzengger may be taking some advice from james cameran, someone who played a pretty large role in the first 2 films. MTV recently caught up with Cameron and he dished on the terminator film franchise....he said, "I was talking to him back in fall about a new 'Terminator' film and quietly advising on that, I suppose you could say"...he went on to explain how he told Schwarzenegger that he should not proceed with the proposed fifth film of the series unless it shifted the focus onto the character of the T-800. Cameron said, "I was trying to be as encouraging as possible. Frankly, at that time, I thought it needed to be more about him...I told him he should not do it until it's focused on his character or he shouldn't do it. I think there are some great stories that can be told about that character that haven't even been thought of yet." Justin Lin was originally attached to helm T5 but he dropped out of the project last September, so besides camerons advice, we really don't know where t5 stands, so we will be sure to keep you guys posted as we get more info.. in the meantime you tell us ...

Thanks for tuning in to ClevverMovies, I'm Tatiana Carrier here in Hollywood. Well, we've been hearing rumors that there might be a Terminator 5, but before that gets settled, we might get to see an animated feature film instead. The company that owns the rights to the Terminator series, Hannover House and Annapurna Pictures, released a piece of concept art titling the film Terminator 3000. President of the company Eric Parkinson told thearnoldfans.com that " I think [Arnold would] do the voice of the T-800 in this proposed Terminator 3000. We're excited about it, and we think it makes perfect sense and with all due respect to Arnold, I think this would be another great and quick way for him to get another movie out with just a short time in a recording studio." . Parkinson also said that although the story and script are still being developed, they are creating a character of Arnold "in his absolute peak." So even though Arnold is getting older, it sounds like maybe they're going with a younger T-800. They are planning on using CGI similar to that used in James Cameron's other huge flick, Avatar, and may look a little like the CGI animation used to animate Arnold in Terminator Salvation. .
