Killer Home Arm Workout (biceps, triceps)
scoobysworkshop.com Here is a killer arm workout you can do at home with just a set of dumbbells to help get those huge guns, I'm sore for days after doing this workout. This is an arm workout for the advanced bodybuilder, if you are new to bodybuilding please check my website for a more appropriate workout. There are six exercises, three for biceps and three for triceps. The entire workout takes 45 minutes and there is very little down time. Make sure you have done warm-up sets for both biceps and triceps before starting this workout because we start in with really heavy weights and you don't want to get injured. Intensity and focus are really important when you do this workout. Don't hold back anything, treat every set as if it were your last. I know I sound stupid with all my grunting and groaning but when I give it 110%, I can't help it. In this workout we do one exercise for biceps then without rest do the opposing triceps muscle. Here is the workout: Biceps: dumbbell curl using forced negatives Triceps: skull crushers Rest 60-90s while preparing dumbbells for next exercises Biceps: Twenty-ones with barbell Triceps: narrow grip bench press Rest 60-90s while preparing dumbbells for next exercises Biceps: reverse grip barbell curls Triceps: dumbbell kick backs Repeat the above five times, the complete workout should take about 45 minutes. I was on my way to the gym, but I decided to make a video for you guys to show you my most effective arm workout! I hope you enjoy! First, we are going to start off with a couple warm up sets of light weight curls... I use a curl bar. Do about 2 sets of 10 reps. Then we are going to go straight into working sets. Working set are done at a weight where you can really only do 8-10 reps and are struggling to get up your last rep. Do 4 sets with 30 seconds rest in between sets. Next we are going to to some one arm bicep curls with dumbbells. I do them seated because it enables you to isolate you biceps a little more, and prevent you from rocking your back too much which will cause injury. Again you want to be doing 4 sets of 8-10 reps... The next exercise is this routine is a bent over preacher curl. Position your feet about 6 inches apart, toes above your knees, and bent at the waist with your butt in the air. You want to keep your elbows on the outside of your knees, and as you curl up you want to bring your butt down and at the top of the curl really stick your elbows foward to hit your bicep peak. Cutting Crew - (I Just) Died in Your Arms
1986) The pop/rock group Cutting Crew formed in England in 1985, just one year before "(I Just) Died in Your Arms" made them stars at home and across the Atlantic. Founding members Kevin Scott MacMichael (guitar) and Nick Van Eede (vocals) met in Halifax, Nova Scotia, while both musicians were on tour with their respective bands. A musical connection was made, and MacMichael soon left his native Australia and relocated to England, where he and Van Eede immediately began to collaborate. After signing with Siren Records on the strength of their demos, Cutting Crew became a foursome in 1986 with the addition of bassist Colin Farley and drummer Martin Beadle; they entered the recording studio that same year. While the pace was certainly quick, the quartet was comprised of veterans; Eede had toured the world with his Sussex-based outfit the Drivers, MacMichael served time as guitarist for Fast Forward, Beadle was a one-time member of Hull, and Farley had completed hours of session work for many artists. Cutting Crew released their debut album, Broadcast, in 1986. The group received mixed reviews from music critics, but not when it came to the album's undeniable highlight, the synth-heavy "(I Just) Died in Your Arms." Superset Comb #1 - Dumbbell Curls/ Close Grip Push Ups - 3 super sets till failure Superset Comb # 2 - Hammer Curls/ Dumbbell Overhead Ext - 3 super sets till failure Superset Comb #3 - Concentration Curls/ Couch Dips - 3 super sets till failure Tip - Make sure you use a weight heavy enough to only be able to do about 8 - 12 reps. And while these are great arm exercises...obviously they'll work better when they're part of the right Afterburn Training routine.
