Designers such as Escada and Armani purchase rabbit pelts from China, and they need to leave fur out of their clothing lines! In China, there are NO animal welfare laws, and 70 million rabbits die every YEAR to put an ugly coat or jacket trim on a fur hag! PETA video, narrated by Gillian Anderson (X Files' Scully), shows undercover foootage of what the rabbits endure for our vanity. Strung up and electrocuted, their throats slit, as they are still conscious. There are NO animal welfare laws in China, and these rabbits are brutally packaged, treated, killed, and skinned. Alot of times, the pelt (fur/skin) is pulled off the twitching body of a rabbit, when it looks around. These animals are still alive and in agony when they're killed, and stripped of their own flesh.
