Animation of Anne Frank, the graphic biography
This animation shows extracts from the new graphic biography of Anne Frank. The biography tells the story of Anne Frank's life, and ends with the return of Otto Frank -- who was the only one of the eight people in hiding in the secret annexe to survive the Holocaust -- and the publication of Anne's diary and the opening of the Anne Frank House.The biography is published at the beginning of July in the Netherlands, later this month (Sept.) in the United States, and later this year in Canada, Great Britain, Germany, France, Italy and Spain.

It is the only time Anne Frank has ever been captured on film. At the time of her wedding, the bride lived on the second floor at Merwedeplein 39. The Frank family lived at number 37, also on the second floor. The Anne Frank House can offer you this film footage thanks to the cooperation of the couple.

Miep Gies died on January 11 2010 at 100 years old, almost a month before her 101st birthday. She is a great example for us all. RIP.

I'm really proud of this, exept the little mistake with the low sound in the end with the voices and the little clip before the Hannah Taylor-Gordon clip .. ARGH Anyways, the story: This movie is a true story that happend during the second world war, under the 40's. A 13-year old girl named Anne Frank and her family went into hiding with another family, and a dentist. In the Van Pels family, there was a boy who Anne was falling in love with, named Peter. One day, they were discovered and Gestapo came and sent them to a concentration camp named Auschwitz. Watch the movie now! Full of tension but at times funny and ultimately tragic, Anne Frank's diary creates a truthful and timeless picture of domestic life in all its pettiness and normality while never letting us forget the extraordinary threat of death awaiting the characters if they are discovered. Dramatisations of her diary are far and few between as the Anne Frank Fonds (estate) tend not to grant rights to adapt her memoirs, so this drama serial is a very rare event.
