Francoise Hardy - (English) Message Personnel (En Anglais)
Message Personnel in English! I had no idea this version even existed. On one side of the 45 there is the French version.. flip it over and there is the English version...what a brilliant idea!..I have been told that this is a rare and valuable pressing .. This is an interesting rendition. I was not sure if it would work in English. The "speaking (intro)" part does for sure. The French version of the singing is the best, but I really like the intro in English better. There are a few bumps in the 45 single, but it does not sound too bad for its age. Encore une fois, apprendre l'anglais pour la culture des pays qui le parlent, par affinité personnelle avec la culture anglo-saxonne, c'est à encourager. Mais il faut se rendre à l'évidence: l'anglais n'est pas une langue jouant bien son rôle comme langue internationale. Seules les personnes faisant des études longues, ayant les moyens de se payer quelques années dans un pays anglophone peuvent atteindre un niveau acceptable dans la langue de Shakespeare, sans pour autant en maîtriser toutes les nuances. L'anglais, en tant que langue internationale est malheureusement une langue élitiste, et on le voit, même les élites ne sont pas capables de le parler.
