Uno di questi è Yuri, 16 anni, di origine danese, ma cresciuto in Val di Susa. Il giovane viene portato a braccia lontano dalla zona degli scontri. I medici volontari dicono subito che si tratta di un trauma "molto serio". Il giovane inizia a vomitare e il personale sanitario parla di "possibili complicanze neurologiche", se non viene subito trasportato in ospedale. Le forze dell'ordine presidiano l'unico accesso alla strada asfaltata che permette di raggiungere le ambulanze. Si scaldano gli animi, diverse decine di agenti antisommossa si frappongono tra Yuri ei soccorsi sanitari di cui necessita. Solo dopo 45 minuti di attesa l'ufficiale in comando fa trasportare il giovane all'ambulanza.
