Al Green - You Ought To Be With Me
Sit right down and talk to me, about how you want to be, you ought to be with me, ya, you ought to be with me. Thinking about what people do, talking about how I love you, thinking there's nothing to what they say, you ought to be with me, anyway. They don't want to see us do, all of the dumb things we want to, you ought to be with me, hey, you ought to be with me. You don't have to waste my time, if you want to be a friend of mine, you can be denied and walk away, and turn your back for another day. You ought to be the kind of girl, that can brighten up this old world, and it's hard to see why you and me, can't be together happily. I'm trying to realize, you being with some other guy, I don't know the reason why, you ought to be with me until I die.

The Book Of Eli - Soundtrack Al Green How can you mend a broken heart
Al Green - How can you mend a broken heart LYRICS ::::: I can think of younger days when living for my life Was everything a man could want to do I could never see tomorrow, but I was never told about the sorrow And how can you mend a broken heart? How can you stop the rain from falling down? How can you stop the sun from shining? What makes the world go round? How can you mend a this broken man? How can a loser ever win? Please help me mend my broken heart and let me live again I can still feel the breeze that rustles through the trees And misty memories of days gone by We could never see tomorrow, no one said a word about the sorrow And how can you mend a broken heart? How can you stop the rain from falling down? How can you stop the sun from shining? What makes the world go round? How can you mend this broken man? How can a loser ever win? Please help me mend my broken heart and let me live again

Al Green - Let's stay together
Lyrics: I'm, I'm so in love with you Whatever you want to do It's alright with me 'Cause you make me feel so brand new I want to spend my life with you The same things, baby, since we've been together Ooh, loving you forever Is what I need Let me be the one you come running to I'll never be untrue Ooh, baby, let's, let's stay together Loving you whether, whether times are good or bad, happy or sad Whether times are good or bad, happy or sad Why somebody, why people break up? Oh, turn around and make up I just can't see You'd never do that to me (Would you, baby?) So to be around you is all I see Is what I want us to Let's, we ought to stay together Loving you whether, whether times are good or bad, happy or sad Let's, let's stay together Loving you whether, whether times are good or bad, happy or sad

Al Green - Belle
Albert Greene (born April 13, 1946), better known as Al Green, is an American gospel and soul music singer. He reached the peak of his popularity in the 1970s, with hit singles such as "You Oughta Be With Me," "I'm Still In Love With You," "Love and Happiness", and "Let's Stay Together". After spending several years exclusively performing gospel, Green began to return to R&B (Rhythm & Blues). First, he released a duet with Annie Lennox, "Put A Little Love In Your Heart" for Scrooged, a 1988 Bill Murray film. In 1989 Green worked with producer Arthur Baker writing and producing the international hit "The Message Is Love". In 1991 he created the introductory theme song for the short-lived television series Good Sports featuring Ryan O'Neal and Farrah Fawcett. In 1992, Green recorded again with Baker, the Fine Young Cannibals, and reunited with his former Memphis mix engineer (this time functioning as producer) Terry Manning, to release the album "Don't Look Back". His 1994 duet with country music singer Lyle Lovett blended country with R&B, garnering him his ninth Grammy, this time in a pop music category. Green's first secular album in some time was Your Heart's In Good Hands (1995), released to positive reviews but disappointing sales, the same year Green was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. In 2000, Green published Take Me to the River, a book discussing his career. Green received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2002. In 2001, Green's live cover of ...
