Mazzy Star - Among My Swan (full album)
Among My Swan is the third album by the band Mazzy Star. Although Among My Swan did not contain any US Billboard Hot 100 hits like its predecessor, So Tonight That I Might See, this album did garner the band its highest-ranking single on the UK Singles Chart, when "Flowers In December" reached #40 in November 1996. [1] The album's second single, "I've Been Let Down", did not chart in either the United States or the UK. Among My Swan relied less on the echo effect that was nearly ubiquitous in all tracks on the previous two albums. Hope Sandoval's voice is paired with simple acoustic instrumentation that marks most of the tracks. The guitar and harmonica accompaniment on "I've Been Let Down" is a prime example of this. These tracks are not markedly different in sound or feel from the preceding two albums. Will.I.Am also said that he would like to work on a project with Kanye West, A Tribe Called Quest, Native Tongues, and his last idea is for him and Krs-One to enroll in Harvard and then make and album like students again. Turn On the Bright Lights is the debut studio album by American post-punk revival band Interpol, released in August 2002. The album was recorded in November 2001 at Tarquin Studios in Connecticut, and was co-produced, mixed and engineered by Peter Katis and Gareth Jones. Cardstock Mini Album - fast to make, cute little gift!
Thank you for watching! These go together so fast, and they make an adorable gift! It is made with few embellishments, mostly cardstock and patterned paper. If you have any questions, please leave me a comment or email me. You will need 2 12" x 12" sheets in coordinating colors. The first color, cut 1-6" x 12" and score at 2 3/4", 3", 9" and 9 1/4", then cut 3- 5 3/4" by 12" and score at 3" and 9". From the second color cut 4-5 1/2" sqaures, and 1-5 x 12" and score at 5" and 8 1/2". Patterned paper to be cut at 5" square for cover and large openings, 5 x 2" or 2 1/4" for flaps and for back flap I used 2- 2" x 4 3/4" for the piece that glues to the bottom and 4-3" x 4 1/2" on the other flaps. Havoc says that the day Prodigy got out of jail they started working on the new Mobb Deep album. Hesitant to give too many details about album he eventually says that you can expect them to collaborate with the new generation including Wiz Khalifa and Odd Future, to go with Nas and Lil Kim collaborations and maybe even Rick Ross. Havoc says that he originally started producing because they couldn't afford the 25k that producers wanted to charge them because that was their whole marking budget. He also says that although he has worked with Ludacris, Eminem and Royce Da 5'9 this year he is saving the best beats from now one for the Mobb Deep album. MCs Mr. Funke and DoItAll Dupré met DJ Lord Jazz (a native of Cleveland) when all three were undergraduates at Shaw University. The three are perhaps best remembered for the singles "Funky Child", "Chief Rocka" and "Tic Toc"; all of which were wildly eccentric manifestos. The music video for "Funky Child" features one of the group members parading around in a diaper. Their chief producer was Marley Marl's protégé, K-Def. Pete Rock remixed their songs "Flow On" and "Check It" in 1994 . In their initial releases, their first two albums Here Come The Lords (1993) and Keepers of the Funk (1994), earned them an award from Black Entertainment Television in 1993 . They collaborated with George Clinton; their second album's title track, which samples his work, features him in a cameo. The track is generally more abrasive and less conventionally tuneful in its instrumentation than most of their work.
