Assume the Position - Turbine Directed by Aaron Platt Produced by Paul Morris Music by Turbine www.myspace.com This is the second video in a series of Turbine films by different San Francisco filmmakers. In the mid to late 90's San Francisco's Dot-Com movement forced many artists from the city due to rent's increasing as much as 300%. Poor working class families were displaced as well. The different directors of this series were chosen as they were an active part of the art scene before the Dot-Com movement. Some directors know each other some don't, but all of them were often in the same room at shows, events, and parties. This was pre-internet and these directors were influenced by the zeitgeist of those times.

She is married with Edward) whereas at the same time he sends a letter. He "sings" to him remembering all the lived moments. The memories are in black and white. Lived in color. A Last Time
Initially, I just named this Too Late. Which is obviously lyrics from the song. So just now, I decided to give it is own name, A Last Time. It's pretty basic but it seemed to fit well enough. The vid is a story I made about a police officer who has to make one of the hardest decisions of his life. I know I already have a video with the other version of this song. BUT I saw a music video today by Aaron Platt and it inspired this short story for the Movies Game. The song is Apologize by One Republic.

EDIT: 11/19/07 Did this song suddenly get popular somewhere or something? I trivially posted this vid like 10 months ago, and lately my inbox is getting spammed with comments, daily. Other than listening to my MP3s, I have only heard this song *once* in public. And that was the uber-crappy Timbaland remix, that some DJ played and decided she'd butcher even further =-/ I haven't heard it on the public radio here (yet), just occasionally on internet radio, like Alternative Addiction. Anyway, was just curious about the sudden attention this song has been getting. The Timbaland version seems to be getting some radio-time somewhere. As much as I hate it, at least it will bring notoriety to the original artists. /rant off =P BTW: If you like the original song, I *highly* recommend checking out the fan-made video by Aaron Platt: youtube.com I saw his masterpiece many, many months ago when I was uploading the band's original video, and was blown away.
