He had no real interest for music till 1993 when he first heard the track 2 Unlimited -- No Limit on the radio. In Spring 1998, he was in a school camp on a weekend. At the end of the closing party of the weekend, the DJ played some kind of dance music, which was previously unknown to Greg. He felt the need for asking what the tracks were and the DJ replied Paul van Dyk -- For an Angel and Kai Tracid -- Liquid Skies. A few years later, in 2001, he bought a new PC and started using the software called Reason. By this time Greg has decided to try and start producing seriously so that maybe one day his tracks would be signed by a label. His first collaboration was with his classmate and best friend Andrew Kalmár who was there with him right from the first moment. They made some really nice trance tunes back from 2003 to 2006, but they never got released. His first real success was the tune entitled as It's a Dream, which was remixed by some talented young talents and UK Trance Alliance also recodnised him as a talented producer. After having prepared a dozen instrumental tracks between September 2007 and March 2008, Bob then left for Jamaica, where -- despite a really nasty fever that hit him just when he arrived in Kingston -- he recorded a number of singers such as Christopher Martin, Tony Rebel and Queen Ifrica. A dance-based electronic duo with a definite rock band feel, the comparison would seem appropriate, although it tends to erase what makes the group distinct a solid base in American hip-hop, rock, soul, and pop. Formed in 1993 by Ken Jordan and Scott Kirkland, Crystal Method is the most recent stop in a string of projects that led them from their native Las Vegas (and some forgettable four-track stabs at vocal house music), to the early-'90s LA rave scene. Drawn in by its youthful idealism, Jordan and Kirkland became absorbed by LA's underground club culture and began knocking out tracks inspired by their experiences. On the strength of one of their demos, Crystal Method signed to Steve Melrose and Justin King's City of Angels imprint in 1994, and their debut single, "Keep Hope Alive," appeared soon after. The title was in reference to LA's waning rave scene (burdened by constant police pressure and a string of random violent incidents) and became something of an anthem due to the endless barrage of remixes and alternate versions that appeared.
