A-ha - Living a Boy's Adventure Tale (video edit:electronaut)
A-ha "Living a Boy's Adventure Tale" (Waaktaar / Harket) I've fixed my dwelling for the night Lights in pairs come passing by where I hide I need some time now on my own Leave my loneliness alone To lick my wounds Night has found me just in time to help me close my eyes one more time Living a boy's adventure tale In so many ways Living a boy's adventure tale For so many days I'm living a boy's adventure tale Can't escape, if I wanted to Living a boy's adventure tale I may be dreaming but I feel awake I've been lost in so many places Seeked love in so many faces A change of weather, the rain pours down My head in hands, pressed to the ground And where am I supposed to go now Living a boy's adventure tale In so many ways Living a boy's adventure tale (aah) Living a boy's adventure tale a voice I hear Living a boy's adventure tale Singing a lullaby for me Living a boy's adventure tale Because of you Living a boy's adventure Oh you know it's true Living a boy's adventure tale In so many ways (aah) For so many days I love you. I love you So many ways

A-ha- Ending on a High Note (Adventure Video) 1985-2010
A-ha is a Norwegian band formed in Oslo in 1982. The trio consists of lead vocalist Morten Harket; guitarist Paul Waaktaar-Savoy and keyboardist Magne Furuholmen . The group was discovered by musician and producer John Ratcliff. Originally John Ratcliff introduced A-ha to his manager, Terry Slater, and after a few meetings, A-ha enlisted Ratcliff as a manager also. Slater and Ratcliff formed TJ Management. Ratcliff dealt with technical and musical aspects, and Slater acted as the group's international business manager and as liaison to Warner Brothers's head office in Los Angeles. The bands name came from Morten as he spotted a song called "A-ha" in Waaktaar's songbook. "It was a terrible song but a great name," says Morten. A-ha's most creative video is "Take on Me" The second video release was directed by Steve Barron, and filmed at Kim's Café and on a sound stage in London, in 1985. This version used a pencil-sketch animation / live-action combination called rotoscoping, in which the live-action footage is traced-over frame by frame to give the characters realistic movements. Approximately 3000 frames were rotoscoped, which took 16 weeks to complete. One of the opponents chasing Morten in the video is UK actor Philip Jackson. The young woman, in the café drawn into A-ha's world is Bunty Bailey. Magne played the main melody of Take on Me on a Roland Juno-60 "MIDI'd up" to a Yamaha DX7. The drum machine used on the second and third releases (rotoscoped video version) was ...

Stay on These Roads - A-ha Live
Ask most any US-born citizen who the top performers in the world are and you might get some similar nominees and consensus. Chances are the name 'A-ha" won't even be on their lips. But when you point out that the Norwegian band A-ha has consistently been at the very top of international supergroups, selling-out stadiums all over the world and producing hit albums regularly throughout the last twenty-something years, chances are you'll receive a blank stair of confusion. When you remind them of the superb 80s video for their megahit "Take On Me" (which is easily remembered by anyone who's ever watched music videos), you'll most likely get the response, "I just thought they were a 'one-hit-wonder'." Actually, they've been anything but a one-hit-wonder. When it comes to selling tickets and bringing in the huge audience numbers, A-ha far surpasses those bands which probably topped the misinformed lists of your average American music lover. When I saw this concert from last year, I was completely blown away! Morten's vocals are simply superb... as always! He is one of the few singers who I have yet to see a bad performance. The man has a great vocal range and rarely hits a wrong note. And this song... I had never heard it before, but instantly was captivated by it's sheer beauty and emotion! This has to be one of the most hauntingly beautiful songs I've ever heard. It's simply breath taking. If you find it as incredible as I do, please post your comments. Thanks. Oh yeah... if ...

Touch me How can it be Believe me The sun always shines on TV Hold me Close to your heart Touch me And give all your love to me To me... I Reached inside myself And found nothing there To ease the pressure of My ever worrying mind All my powers waste away I fear the crazed and lonely looks The mirror's sending me These Days Please don't ask me to defend The shamefull lowlands Of the way I'm drifting Gloomily through time I reached inside myself today Thinking there's got to be some way To keep my troubles distant Touch me How can it be Believe me The sun always shines on TV Hold me Close to your heart Touch me And gïve all your love to me Lyrics from: www.lyricsforsong.net
