This incident was video recorded by Simon Lowe. 233 people where on board this jet bound for Lanzarote. The number 2 engine sucks in one bird (a crow or corvid) as the plane rotates off the runway. TV news reports of two herons being sucked in are wrong. Congratulations to the crew and air-traffic controllers for the calm and professional way they dealt with the situation. British Airways Boeing 757-200 G-CPER - The 757 is an authentic rocket. it literally pushed us all back against the seatbacks with a great engine spool up sound and then soared at a very steep angle until we supposedly reached 5000 ft. A QF and a SIA A380 can be seen and also an engine vortex before entering the runway. Enjoy it!

Thomas Cook Boeing 757-200 Ibiza - Birmingham *Full Flight* Awesome Sound!!
On-board a Thomas Cook Boeing 757-200 aircraft operating 1 of Thomas Cook's shortest flights from Ibiza to back up to the UK, and to Birmingham! Where today we had a brilliant tail wind, resulting in the flight only taking just over 2 hours and we arrived in Birmingham 27mins ahead of schedule! Notice taxiing in Birmingham, something very strange happened, the left hand engine shut down and we were taxiing with the power of 1 engine, which I've never heard of before for a jet aircraft! Very strange! Also notice the extremely rapid descent, the captain said he was going to try and drop through the rough clouds as quickly as possibe to avoid to much turbulence, as you can see, the minute we hit clouds it got very violent! He also mentioned we were over silverstone and the red arrows were performing just below us! :D A great flight with Thomas Cook! and a brilliant holiday in Ibiza! I've never seen a FedEX Boeing 757 before, in fact I had no idea they even operated to London Luton, so I was happy to see one. I like the 757. Late afternoon of Thursday Februrary 23rd 2012. In this video I captured an aborted landing/ rejected landing/ go-around. Whatever the terminology I hope the absolute power of the 757 and engines come through in this video. It's a shorter video than I normally produce and for those of you that dislike the music, this one is au natural! - natural sounds only. Anyway, I had a great day at my unplanned, unexpected trip to Luton. I was grateful to the friendly security guys for letting me stay. I hope you enjoy the video, I really enjoyed seeing and hearing the power of this fantastic aircraft.

FSX British Airways 757 Tribute Full Flight
I'm trying something new, this is a full flight gate to gate to honor the Boeing 757 which has flown it's last commercial flight for British Airways on Oct 30, 2010. This is a recreation of Flight #1389 from Manchester (EGCC) to London Heathrow (EGLL) flown on that day. Although it was not the last fight which was from Edinburgh to Heathrow later that night, but it was the shortest leg that day. The aircraft repainted in the original livery that the 757 was originally delivered in in 1983 was named Stokesay Castle. It's tail number was G-CPET. Actually this aircraft flew one other time on Nov 6, 2010 for a Charity flight out of London Heathrow Warning this is a long video the flight was just over an hour all together and external views of the flight follow.

This is a short video taken from the cockpit of a Boeing 757 at London's Heathrow airport. In those pre 9/11 days it was still possible to visit the cockpit! If you look very carefully (and you know your way around Heathrow airport) you will notice that I have mixed shots from several flights and that we are approaching the airport from two different directions!

Continental Airlines 757 - 300 Landing Mexico City
Continental Airlines Boeing 757 - 300, registration N77871, descending into Mexico City on July 30th, 2010. The typical ILS approach into runway 05R can be seen. The blue building on the turn to final is the WTC Mexico. Quite a bounce when we touched down, you can even see the spoilers deploy, then go down and up again; we braked very hard, I was surprised thrust reversers weren't used.
