Folk is picky music, or you love it, or you just plain hate it, that's what I think (somewhat like jazz). Of course, for people who want epic stuff it's clearly not in that category, and will never be. When you talk abut folk you imagine Celtic music, Irish music or stuff like that, but we cannot forget that a lot of folk masters are Japanese people, "Japanese" music in strict sense is folk, with typical Japanese instruments, but it's still a type of folk music. In Touhou we have various artists that like to arrange in folk style, the most exponential being O-Life, although recently, instead of folk, that guy has been doing some strange "other" stuff. Thus, the only other artist that remains is k-Waves, who is the one-man Irish music arranger. Still, we aren't in the Japanese section, since Irish arranges aren't Japanese (duh...). I'll admit there isn't "a lot" of Japanese folk, there are some albums and some arrangers (insert some kanji name here), like Takumi's album, but other than that there ...

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is inspired from the famous humorous column 'Duniya Ne Undha Chasma' written by the eminent Gujarati writer Mr. Tarak Mehta. This story evolves around happenings in "Gokuldham Co-operative Society" and covers topical issues which are socially relevant.The show predominantly revolves around 'Jethalaal' (Dilip Joshi) who is an uneducated Gujarati businessman. Your 'Taarak Mehta' (Sailesh Lodha), is his neighbour. 'Jethalaal' finds a friend and philosopher in 'Taarak Mehta' and often goes to him for advice whenever he is in trouble. Jethalaal's family includes his simpleton wife 'Daya Ben' (Disha Wakani) and a mischievous son 'Tapu' (Bhavya Gandhi). Tapu is a menace and a constant source of trouble to all the members of Gokuldham. They have often warned 'Jethalaal' to reform 'Tapu' or else be prepared to leave the premises. Lost hopes of being heard by his son pushes Jethalaal' to call his father 'Champaklal' (Amit Bhatt) from the village. This was his great idea of leashing some control over the mischievous Tapu. The opposite happens and the grandfather joins hands with the grandson to make life a roller coaster troublesome ride for Jethalaal.
