Aarthy wants to know the fact of why Shanmugarajan betrayed her in court. So goes to Neelambari's house to meet Shanmugarajan .Neelambari warns her to not to cross her way. Aarthy meets Shanmugarajan and asks the reason for his statement in the couert. Shanmugarajan reveals that he was threatened by Neelambari and recounts how Neelambari gave poisoned milk to JP, who in spite of his father's efforts to stop him, drinks the milk believing his stepmother. After learning the truth Aarthy gets the blessing of Shanmugarajan. She comes out & confronts Neelambari, warning her of dire consequences if she ever tried to harm Shanmugarajan again.
