When you first take control of Kyle Reese, you're in the future and fighting your way through an onslaught of HK's and Terminators to get to the time machine that will send you back to 1984 to protect Sarah Connor. When you actually get to 1984, you'll find that your biggest enemies are street thugs and cops, all of whom take an immediate disliking to you and will stop at nothing to kill you. Just like in the film, Kyle castrates them with his, er...semi-automatic sawed-off shotgun with infinite cartridges? The cops and thugs are so insulted by your presence that they remain completely oblivious to the towering robotic menace wreaking havoc only feet away from them, killing their buddies and destroying government property. They remain bound and determined to kill only you, and for reasons they don't even understand. Also, just like in the movie, Kyle survives long enough for Sarah to crush the T-800 in the hydraulic press. With Sarah saved and the threat to humanity's only hope eliminated, Kyle inexplicably keels over and dies...just like in the movie. Gastrointestinal disease, perhaps?

PSX Longplay [074] Bust A Groove

www.longplays.org Played by Connor Bust a Groove is a hybrid music/fighting game (heavy on the music, light on the fighting) released in 1998. The idea is to follow the instructions for button presses, ending the sequence in beat with the music. I remember liking this quite a lot back in the PS1 days, despite the music being quite far from my normal tastes. Several nutty characters battle each other on the dancefloor for possession of an alien device called "the Groovetron". Opponents range from slightly weird (a stripper/fortune teller/assassin) to really weird (aliens and dancing robots). Heat is supposed to be the feature character, but I played as Frida because women dance better. :) The game is more or less impossible to play these days, since the delay between graphics and music is hardcoded for TVs back in the 90's, so most of the playthrough is done with re-recording. Because of that, I played on 'hard', to give the computer a chance, and since dominating too much zooms in on your character, making it a bit boring. There are some graphical glitches, in that metallic surfaces are pretty wonky and some objects get stretched when they are really close to the camera. Hopefully a future revision of PSXjin might fix this. The gameplay movie consists of one run through the stages only. Bonus video contains the ending movie and some private dancing (no, not that kind!) for each character, also allowing you to hear their themes without the announcer screaming all the time ...

Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete Boss Battle #16 Zophar ============================== Strategy? As much as I'd rather have you guys figure it out on your own, I'll just show my strategy. (First attempt at Zophar. D:) --► Pre-Battle Preparations: ► Be at least level 50 or higher. (Triple Sword FTW!) ► Use Tactics to spread out your characters like how I did (One in each corner, one in the middle) ► Equip all your strongest gear. ► Use Starlights/Silverlights to recover your party's MP, and heal up. ► Give Lemina and Ronfar 2 Chiro Crests (They were essential for me, and it helps in the next boss battle). ► Equip Angel Rings on all your characters (You should have around 5 of them by this point. ► The White Dragon Crest is ESSENTIAL. Thinking back, it might have been better if I gave it to Lemina (since she has the most MP), but I gave mines to Jean. --► Battle Strategy: Hiro: Triple Sword is just too awesome to not use. 3 hits, around 2k+ damage when buffed. He'll be using that until he runs out of MP, then use a Starlight/Silverlight. Keep on using Triple Sword. Ronfar: Divine Litany never gets old, use that first round, then Tranquil Litany is what he's going to be using for the rest of the battle. Have Ronfar cast Miracle Litany to revive dead characters, and Clean Litany to cure status ailments. Jean: Well, I didn't really use White Dragon Protect in this battle (I don't know why).
