The Last of Us: Joel and Ellie Truck Ambush Cinematic
Joel and Ellie won't have an easy road ahead of them. Their path across the US will intersect with other survivors, some of whom won't be friendly. In this scene set to the somber chords of Hank Williams, Sr., Joel and Ellie continue their journey west in a battered pickup truck. As they drive towards the next destination on their route, and hopefully a place to find critical resources, the pair encounters a group of hunters. What happens next is something you have to witness to understand. The Last of Us is genre-defining experience blending survival and action elements to tell a character driven story about a population decimated by a modern plague. Cities are abandoned and being reclaimed by nature. Remaining survivors are killing each other for food, weapons and whatever they can find. Sony announced the Xperia Sola smartphone with a 3.7-inch Reality Display, a 1GHz dual-core processor, NFC and Android 2.3 Gingerbread with an upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich promised for the summer months. What sets the the Xperia sola apart is that it features "floating touch" navigation, which enables "magic" web browsing without physically touching the screen. It also means that you can use the handset with your gloves on. It's too bad this feature wasn't released at the beginning of the winter not the beginning of spring.

The Samsung Galaxy S3 may have just been unveiled, however, a string of UK retailers have already announced that they'll be stocking the device, while some have even announced price plans and exclusive deals for UK buyers. Samsung is yet to reveal the handset-only cost of the device, however, the Samsung Galaxy S2 was available for about £500 on a SIM-free basis at launch, so we're guessing the S3 could possibly don a similar price tag. The Carphone Warehouse is offering the handset on a SIM-free basis for £499, so chances are rival retailers will be pricing the device at around the amount. However, online retailer unlocked-mobiles.co.uk has confirmed that it will be flogging the 16GB S3 for a SIM-free price of £549.98.
